We wrapped up Illinois second firearm season and now are focusing on some late season strategies. Kyle starts putting pieces together of a big buck that's still alive and has moved back into his summer range. Nic Chambers strikes success in Kansas cutting it to the wire.

We took a break last week for Thanksgiving and are still recovering from the food coma. We've got an action packed episode this week with Jake Vancil putting down his best buck to date, and we introduce our newest Team Radical member Logan Kain, who's had an incredible deer season this year.

Matt Lape was able to start week seven off with a great Illinois ten point. We knew after the last podcast that Luke Brazzle was so close on his #1 hitlist buck. He was able to seal the deal on his third encounter, and talk about a freak whitetail buck. Nic Chambers thinks poachers may have got his #1 hitlister as they've found a couple dead deer with missing heads on the property. Kansas was on fire this last week and just today Kyle Martin put down a great buck as well and will be on the week 8 podcast.

Jacob Pruiett was able to notch a tag on his biggest public land buck yet. The years of hard work and persistence paid off in a huge way. Jake Vancil is a little butt hurt after his target buck was taken by a neighbor, but has other target bucks still showing up. Luke Brazzle, out of Kansas, came so close to his target buck and plans on sealing the deal soon! Kyle Heuerman gives a breakdown of his past week of hunting, along with his plans going forward.

The monkey is off our back. This past week Chance Karhliker and Sean McCrory both put down a bruiser buck. Chance got the ball rolling in southern Illinois and Sean struck gold this morning. We're hopeful this is a good sign of success to come. The team collectively have had some great encounters over the past week with some great bucks and it's just a matter of time until they make their mistake.

Week 4 certainly had a lot of excitement in many ways. Covid, pooping from the tree stand, big buck encounters/close calls, calling at deer, social media toxicity, and being positive are some of the topics Kyle Heuerman, Chris Walker, and Matt Lape discuss this week. Enjoy!

Here's a wrap up of our week 3 deer season with Chance Karhliker, Kyle Martin, and Chris Walker. We had some great encounters, but the best is yet to come. Things are starting to heat up and the temperatures are finally dropping. Lord willing the farmers will get their crops out sooner than later and will really help open the flood gates of those mature bucks that have been hiding.
