We experienced the “Biggest IT outage” in history this weekend, caused by software developer, CrowdStrike. I go over who was impacted by this, how it happened, how it could have been avoided and how it will, most likely, happen again. Scammers are already taking advantage of the CrowdStrike outage and I give tips on what to look out for to avoid that. Finally, I’ll go over some new flying car technology, getting us closer to the Jetsons! And a new form of “identity theft” involving stealing someone’s phone number to gain access to their accounts.
