T-Mobile is out with a new backup home internet solution…that can keep your household connected when your primary broadband service goes down. For those working from home and others who really need to stay online…it can make a lot of sense. The Home Internet Backup plan offers 130 gigabytes of 5G data a month….enough, T-Mobile says…for up to seven days if your traditional ISP isn’t working…..for thirty dollars a month. A 5G gateway is included with no extra fees. For customers with an eligible T-Mobile voice line…the price drops to 20 dollars a month. Keep in mind you may want a battery back up as well for power outages which occur often at the same time as Internet outages. For more info, head to www.t-mobile.com-internet-backup.

Rewiring America is the name of a non-profit that aims to provide information to consumers and businesses about programs and incentives that can save them money. That can be with solar, EVs, heat pumps and more. Policy Analyst Amanda Sachs ..

“Because these are such new, efficient, just superior technologies in the first place, sometimes they have higher up front costs, so there needs to access state, local and federal rebates and other kinds of incentives to lower that cost. But once you do have these efficient electric appliances in your home, you can expect to see operational cost savings as well.”

First of all, if you need to stay powered at a camp site or in a home emergency, BioLite’s BaseCharge line, which is on sale now…is a great investment and is solar rechargeable. Quality and reliability matter with portable power stations. And BioLite made its name with portable stoves. That tradition continues with CampStoves and the latest EcoZoom Rocket Stoves. The family owned company has more winners with Pesto Pasta with Chicken, a favorite here, Beef Bolognese, Drunken Noodles with Chicken, Fiesta Beef and Vegetable Bowl and White Bean, Chicken and Green Chile Stew. “And it’s great credibility for the brand, too.   So if new people are discovering our product that haven’t seen it before and then they see Disney or Ninja Turtles or South Park or Sponge Bob, it’s just wow…it must work well otherwise all these amazing companies wouldn’t have partnered with them.”

Another new innovation?  Check out Blendjet’s new friendly to the environment disposable smoothie straws.
