Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.    The Motorola One Zoom has arrived with the Lenovo owned phone maker bidding to take on Apple, Samsung, Google and OnePlus for camera phone supremacy.  So what’s special here?  Motorola’s Derek Wimmer…

“So this is a four camera system.  It has a dedicated main sensor which is a 48 megapixel.  It also has a telephoto lens which is going to enable you to zoom in a lot further than with a normal sensor.  It has a dedicated ultra wide which is going to allow you to take those wide angle shots and then it has a depth sensor as well.  In addition to those it has a 25 megapixel selfy camera.”

And despite those high end specs…the Motorola One Zoom carries an unlocked price of 450 dollars….less than half that of much of the competition.  It features 128 gigabytes of storage…and a MicroSD slot for even more.

“So what happens is you scan the set…it has to be built exactly how the instructions say…and it will scan the set and create this whole world around it.  So you scan the bus and all of a sudden there will be trees and a road and everything going on there.  And then it will direct you to do certain movements, so it will ask you to twist this or place the mini figure there and those will trigger the next event on the app.”
