Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.  Protecting that new gear for the new year.  When it comes to safeguarding the screen of that new phone, Zagg has earned a reputation for giving users choices.  Some people like flexible screen protectors…while other opt for glass.  Either way… Zagg has engineered easier installation…and is a name you can trust.  Zagg’s sister company…Mophie….helps to deliver protection from drops…while at the same time giving you extra power to make it through the day with the legendary Mophie Juice Pack.  And don’t forget about protecting the data that is in your phone.  Western Digital’s Sandisk line of iXpand Go Flash Drives makes the task simple and let’s you easily transfer those photos and videos to your notebook or other devices.  Pricing depends on the capacity you choose.

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.  It’s one of the new technogies we would love to see take off in the coming year.  Wi-Charge has developed a wireless charging system that can charge multiple devices in a room with power delivered over infrared light beams.  We’re all for fewer things needing to be plugged in and wires everywhere.  Chief Marketing Officer Yuval Boger…

“The device has to be equipped with a small receiver, a component that we make.  And these two parts, a small transmitter and a small receiver combine to deliver energy without cables and without batteries.”

The system can be used to keep home security door locks and cameras powered…along with a myriad of other devices.  The company is working with a variety of partners to bring the technology to market in the coming year.  Check out www.Wi-Charge.com for more.
