श्रीनगर शहर पर जहांगीर और शाहजहां जैसे मुग़ल बादशाहों की छाप आज भी दिखाई देती है। शहर के सारे बाग़ उन्हीं की देन हैं। बागों के लिए मुग़लों के प्रेम का ही नतीजा है की इस घनी आबादी वाले शहर में सबसे सुन्दर और खुली जगह शालीमार, और निशात या चश्म-इ शाही के बागों में मिलती है। साढ़े चार सौ साल बाद भी श्रीनगर में यही पर्यटन के आज भी सबसे बड़े केंद्र हैं।

Mughals and especially Jahangir and Shahjahan loved KAshmir and built a series of gardens in Srinagar. Shalimar, Nishat and garden at Chashm-e-shahi are still the calling cards for the tourists visiting the city as they are the main attraction in an otherwise congested settlement.

छत्तीसगढ़ के धुर अंदर बस्तर ज़िले के जंगलों के बीच से बहती इंद्रावती नदी के रास्ते में एक जगह ऐसी भी आती है जहाँ पूरी की पूरी नदी 90 फ़ीट गिरती है। यही चित्रकोट वाटरफॉल्स या जलप्रपात है। नदी पर बने एक बांध ने प्रवाह को कम तो किया है लेकिन बारिश में आज भी इसका नज़ारा देखने लायक होता है।
