Alien Day ... 4/26 ... is this Saturday, but since Teebs and KidPhoenix release episodes on Wednesdays, we have to talk about the "Alien" franchise, today.

This time, Savanah Tiffany (friend of the podcast) joins as they are newly minted into the franchise. They've only been watching the films for a year or so culminating in watching Alien: Romulus last summer (and being on this podcast).

There have been several Alien movies as well as a pair of Alien vs. Predator crossover movies. Where should these movies be tiered? That's what we'll all find out, today!

Nintendo debuted the Switch 2 last week which sparked some discourse as far as pricing of the next Mario-based hardware.

Is it worth the price point ($450/500 for the console; $80 for games)? We'll get into Nintendo's the value of portability and the quality assurance that comes with Nintendo games as high pros to the console.

There's a larger discussion about the history of console and game pricing -- which seems to have gotten lost in the hooting and hollering. Ultimately, Nintendo holds a unique position in the gaming market and the anticipation some may have for the Switch 2.

It's the podcast after Wondercon!

Wondercon is Teebs's "regular season" before the "playoffs" of San Diego Comic Con this summer, so he was out for a little time doing important things.

However, nerdery keeps going in Teebs's absence, and KidPhoenix always makes it his duty to keep Teebs abreast on things that he may have missed.

There's the Star Wars news centered around Kathleen Kennedy stepping down and John Boyega's comments regarding the fandom.

There's Marvel news concerning the reveal of the cast of Avengers: Doomsday -- which turned into a larger discussion about the Fantastic Four movie coming this summer and its parallels to the DC Studios Superman movie.

But lastly, the discussion then shifts to Star Trek Voyager, with KidPhoenix sharing their fresh perspective on the series as they binge-watch for the first time since the series ended in 2001.
