One social media platform that has been hotly contested of late is TikTok (sort of the evolution of vine -- if you're old enough to remember that). The United States Congress passed a proposed measure that would effectively ban TikTok (or at the very least make it very difficult, financially).

According to a recent report, Sony stock has lost $10 billion in value after lowering the forecast for projected Playstation 5 sales.

Teebs and KidPhoenix could care less about stock prices, but it's worth wondering if we're witnessing the beginning of the decline in console gaming. With consoles (and games) being as expensive as they are in 2024, are we hitting some kind of breaking point where console makers have to re-think some of their planning strategies for future consoles after the PS5/XBox Series X/S era?

Streaming services have transformed television as we know it, so those golden days of shows like "The Sopranos", "The Wire" and other HBO heavy hitters (which paved the way for the "Breaking Bad"s and "Orange is the New Black"s of the world don't show up in the landscape as often.

25 years ago, New Line Cinema decided to take a little known vampire hunter from the pages of Marvel and make him into a movie.
