The Telecommunications Ombudsman is calling for improved regulation of the industry amid ongoing complaints from regional communities. 

More than 51,000 complaints were made about regional connectivity between 2021-2024. 

Rural reporter Emily Minney caught up with ombudsman Cynthia Gebert to hear more about the regulatory framework which she believes is outdated.
