Maria Bernabe, MS, CCC-SLP is a bilingual, ASHA certified, Speech-Language Pathologist in Collier and Lee Counties of Florida. She helps children and adolescents with a variety of speech and language disorders or delays. She also provides feeding and swallowing intervention. Maria specializes in the pediatric population and teletherapy services. She has worked in hospitals, schools, private practice and outpatient facilities.
Maria is the co-founder of Telehealth Specialists, an educational site dedicated to providing information to Speech and Language Pathologists seeking to learn about the field of telehealth.
Maria is the recipient of an ACE Award from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association for her dedication to continuing education in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. She has several specialty trainings and certifications in order to better serve the people in her community.

She has worked with people across the lifespan, from early intervention to geriatrics, since receiving her Master of Science degree from Utah State University in 2011. While at Utah State, Jane also completed training in Listening and Spoken Language through the Sound Beginnings Program. Jane had her first taste of teletherapy 6 years ago, when she began contracting speech services for an online school in Utah. She completed the PROMPT intro and bridging courses in 2019 and has found those skills to be helpful even in teletherapy when needed. Since first starting teletherapy, Jane has continued online and in person services as a contracted SLP and through her private practice, Fenton Speech Therapy.
Kendra T. Allison is a licensed speech-language pathologist, teletherapist, School SLP coach and course creator, and owner of Speechology Communication Services, PLLC, based in Charlotte, NC. Barbara Hecht, director of Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech in the Boston area (Clarke Boston), received her undergraduate degree in linguistics and psychology at Harvard University and her PhD in linguistics and child language development at Stanford University. She has a long and accomplished career as an educator and deaf education specialist. She has long been an innovator in and advocate of distance learning. Prior to her work at Clarke, Dr. Hecht directed the John Tracy Clinic (JTC) in Los Angeles, CA. At Clarke, Dr. Hecht has been a leader in the development of teleservices for families of infants and young children.

Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech recently completed a project investigating telepractice policies for early intervention (EI) providers across the country. In partnership with Brown University graduate students in public affairs, Clarke conducted a state-by-state national survey of policies, funding sources and reimbursement eligibility for EI telepractice services. This national scan revealed a diverse landscape across the country.
Clarke is a pioneer in providing and evaluating the impact of listening and spoken language (LSL) EI services via videoconferencing, offering its first tVISIT (telepractice Virtual Intervention Services for Infants and Toddlers) Program session in early 2013.
Kelli Dixon is a proud Utah State University alumni and currently completing her masters degree from Capella University in the Marriage and Family Therapy program. She has been seeing clients via telehealth since January during the internship phase of her program and has discovered the challenges and surprising benefits of using video technology to build rapport and share space with individuals, couples, and families. Kelli resides in Maryland for the time being, with her husband, three kids, one dog, one cat, four rats, and six chickens… until the Army makes them move again.
Haley Prins, B.A., is a fourth-year Clinical Doctorate in Audiology student at Western Washington University (WWU). She completed her bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at WWU in 2015. Doug Sladen, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Western Washington University. Kimberly Peters, Ph.D., is a speech-language pathologist and audiologist. She completed her graduate education and clinical training in communication sciences and disorders at the University of Connecticut. Kimberly is a Full Professor, Chair of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and Director of the Aural Rehabilitation Clinic at Western.
