Mark previously worked in project management with his mechanical engineering background. Nowadays, he focuses on helping speech-language pathologists through Abeona with all things tech related. Ranging from websites and digital marketing to streamlining with custom automations and systems. Aside from helping numerous SLPs achieve their business goals, Mark is also operating a fast-growing online speech therapy business with his wife, Lauren (Apheleia Speech). Alongside growing both these successful businesses, they also recently welcomed their firstborn son into the family in 2020. In his free time, he travels with loved ones and reads books regularly to learn more from the world. He also enjoys sports and being active.

Julie Sovinsky, M.H.Sc., SLP is a bilingual (English-French) pediatric speech-language pathologist in Ottawa, Canada. She is the founder of Sweet Speech Therapy, a virtual speech and language clinic. Julie loves working with families of late talkers and children with speech sound disorders. She has been a lover of teletherapy for over a year and an SLP since 2013.

Aaron Ziegler, PhD, CCC-SLP, is Director and Speech-Language Pathologist at The Wellness Group for Voice, Speech, and Swallowing, a group practice serving the U.S. West Coast and Idaho with in-person and telehealth services. Dr. Ziegler is Co-founder of the Confident Clinician Cooperative, LP. His clinical interests include vocal aging, vocal injury prevention, and gender expansive voice and communication. Dr. Ziegler has published research, funded in part through the National Institutes of Health, on models of voice therapy and prevention including the co-development of Phonation Resistance Training Exercises (PhoRTE).

Katrina holds a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Loma Linda University, is a certified yoga instructor, and certified children’s yoga instructor. Katrina served on the California Speech and Hearing Early Intervention (CSHA) Task Force and Legislative Board and completed the CSHA Leadership Program. She has been active in her state and national organizations keeping up with current research. She has worked with kids of all ages and abilities for over 15 years within education programs in North County San Diego and across the globe.

Elizabeth Hepler began working as an SLP in 2005. She has served in school, preschool, early intervention, & teletherapy settings.  Elizabeth is the Mom of 4 children (3 who have ADHD diagnosis, 1 who is also autistic).  Working from "both sides of the table" has been helpful in forming close relationships with families.  "I personally understand the challenges parents face."  I find that a family-centered approach is the most functional.”  Elizabeth is working towards TEACCH certification. Beata Klarowska, M.S. CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist and a founder of TheraPlatform, an EMR, practice management and teletherapy platform; and Virtual Speech Center, an app development company. She strives to provide therapists with tools for telepractice and to date has developed over 40 apps for speech, language and cognition. When away from technology, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and playing with her two boys.

Katie Brown, MA, CCC-SLP, CBIS is a speech-language pathologist and certified brain injury specialist from Buffalo, NY. She owns a private practice called Neuro Speech Solutions where she specializes in stroke and brain injury rehab for adults. Katie strives to help her patients regain their communication in order to strengthen their social interactions and life participation. She is an advocate for functional, person-centered therapy and creates materials to help other SLPs gain confidence implementing this approach.

Jordyn Carroll is a school-based speech-language pathologist in Washington, D.C. She uses her social media platform to serve as representation in and outside of the field. Jordyn went to undergrad at the University of Redlands, where she first encountered the lack of diversity in speech pathology. After attending Howard University for graduate school, Jordyn started her business based in advocacy, creating representative materials and apparel, and "being the person she needed when she was younger."

Meera Deters, M.A., CCC-SLP, BCTS, ACAS is the owner of Super Speech Solutions, a concierge private practice that provides online Speech Therapy to Texans.  She helps children and adults improve their speech and language skills so that they can communicate better.  Meera is very passionate about her job.

Meera received her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2006.  She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation clinics, charter schools, and private practices over the past fourteen years.

Meera specializes in accent modification and child language disorders, with an emphasis on children who have autism.
