BlackArrow offers an ad-management platform that delivers live or on-demand advertisements to broadband TV and video-on-demand offerings on cable. Delivering targeted advertising to VOD assets is still an emerging business and BlackArrow is demonstrating some traction in the market. For example, they recently picked up $20 million in VC funding in the current economic climate; signed the children’s network, Kabillion; and integrated their platform with the well-known CDN Akamai’s Media Framework.
