Since the cold weather is on the way and interest rates are expected to rise, the next three to five months will be challenging for agents. However, by adopting an abundance mindset, you know that real estate never stops and homes will continue to be bought and sold. In today's clubhouse takeaways, I discussed the lead generation strategy used by Rocket Mortgage, which used an advertisement over the weekend of using a 90-day rate lock. I discussed why a buyer would want to do that or would not want to do that because typically, interest rates lock within 30 and 45 days. Anything longer usually has some sort of fee attached to it. What they were really doing was creating a reason for a buyer to call them. It was a great lead generation strategy to gather buyer information.

Are you in the contract if the seller signs the purchase contract but not the addendum that is attached to the purchase contract? What begins well ends well is a saying I used in today's clubhouse takeaways when discussing how to handle low offers in real estate, whether you are representing the buyer or the seller. As an agent, when you get in this type of offer situation, you must know what your clients' goals are and why they want to submit this type of offer. There may be other ways to help your client accomplish the goals they are looking for within negotiating an offer. All negotiations are, is when both parties feel like they're winning something.
