  • **BONUS** Punk Rock Cops - Halloween
Grab your candy and your best Halloween costume! Robyn, Roger, and Carlos crash your podcast playlist with a bonus Halloween episode. The trio discuss the ultimate Horror Punk band, The Misfits and other Horror Punk themed bands.  They also tell us about their top picks from the genre, Robyn’s picks: The (Original) Misfits, Tiger Army, AFI, and The Murder City Devils. Roger’s picks: Dr. Chud’s X-Ward, The Ramones, and The Cramps. Carlos’ picks: The (Original) Misfits, TSOL, and The Damned. The crew then share their spooky encounters as teenagers and then as police officers. They also talk horror movies, and they tell us about the movies that still creep them out to this day. Roger then tortures Robyn and Carlos by talking about one of his favorite B movies, WolfCop. Carlos airs out his hatred for the former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, who he regularly encountered during his employment at Blockbuster Video. • Punk Rock Cops 2 - Enter the Vegan Police
In episode #2, Carlos (veganpolice) enters the crew’s podcast with Robyn and Roger, even though he was always apart of the crew. He’s the Godfather of the Punk Rock Cops group chat but don’t let that go to his head (j/k..no, seriously). Carlos tells us about growing up in the south Florida hardcore scene and his first punk rock show. Robyn talks about the Agnostic Front/Sick of it All show she attended the previous evening, including the sweaty hugs she got from Lou and Pete Koller. The crew also discuss their love of the Misfits and their journeys in law enforcement. Roger and Carlos tell us about their vegan lifestyles and the challenges they face with it while being cops. You really feel the vegan bromance listening to Roger and Carlos talk about it. The crew then complain about being old and not going in the pit anymore at shows. They also briefly discuss their crush on Chris Carrabba and Dashboard Confessional. The trio closes out the episode with their underrated band picks. Roger’s pick: boysetsfire (DE post hardcore, check out the song “Rookie”). Carlos’ pick: Brethren (FL metalcore, his favorite song is “Simple Answers”). Robyn’s pick: Deadguy (NJ metalcore, her favorite song is “Pins and Needles”).

  • 3x3 - A Vote For Yourself with Heaven Duval-Cox
In law enforcement and public service in general, our chosen professions cause us to sacrifice ourselves, our bodies, our minds. The truth is, you need to be able to take care of yourself before you take care of others. In this week's episode, we focus on an oft forgotten aspect; your own physical health and wellness. The truth is, most cops are overweight. A shocking number of police officers are obese. THis is not safe for the public, your partners, and most importantly, yourself. This episode is a plea for my listeners who are on the job to spend more time making sure they are literally fit for duty. This is a great conversation that I hope will inspire and entertain you.

  • Jersey Boys - The Reboot Pilot
"Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in"
Last year, we went ahead and cancelled The Jersey Boys Podcast. Things got a little too hot for some of our participants and we decided to lay low. We resurrected once for Drunk Cops Summer Jam and had so much fun of a time that Frank and Ten decided to do it again but this time on a regular scheduled event. So that brings us to today's release.
On today's episode, Frank and Ten talk about booze, Frank standing up Ten, summers in Jersey, who or what is the Shore Whore, horror movies, ghost stories... and many more.

Got something to say? Give us a call and leave a message at ‪(352) 610-1692‬.

On today's show we host my friend and mentor, and former jujitsu instructor, Mr. George Rego. Master Rego is a prominent figure in the world of martial arts and has grace our episode today to talk about the discipline that comes from a life as a martial artist, the benefits to martial arts training and we even get a little bit of a history lesson regarding the history of "ju" arts in America.

All that and I even talk about the importance of mentors as well as posing a religious/spiritual/philosophical question for you all to ponder over the next week.

We will be back on Monday, October 17 with episode 1 of the Jersey Boys Reboot with my good friend Frank Castle.

  • Punk Rock Cops 1 - Prepare For Impact
We’re punk rock and we’re cops. The haters will say you can’t be both but we’re here to break down the walls. From a young age, punk rock has impacted our lives and shaped our beliefs and values. When we became cops, we incorporated those beliefs and values into how we interact with people in this profession. We’re in this to help people, as cliché as it sounds, and that stemmed from the lyrics of every band we love. Lyrics like “make a change” stuck with us and we put every ounce of that into what we do on the job. This music is an outlet for us. From our elementary and middle school years to our adult lives. To all the punk rock cops out there, know you’re not alone. We are here. Let’s talk about the music we love and the reasons why we love… and hate this job.
In episode #1, We get to know a little bit about our hosts: hardcore BFFs, Robyn and Roger. They discuss how they discovered each other and the other punk rock cops they chat with on the ol’ Instagram. Ten Eight Memes and Unit2Back happened to bring a lot of them together. Roger and Robyn discuss how they got into punk rock and how they became cops. They talk about bands they love and their favorite generation of punk, the 90’s. They talk about how coming from the punk rock scene affected they way they do the job and how it’s helped them build rapport with people. Robyn and Roger debate what the best generation of the Misfits was and discuss all things Danzig. They tell us who are their all-time favorite bands: The Misfits, Shelter, Gorilla Biscuits, Youth of Today, the Gaslight Anthem, Rancid, Ten Yard Fight, Dropkick Murphys, Street Dogs, Blood for Blood, Dashboard Confessional, etc. They close out the episode with some of their favorite underrated bands. Roger’s underrated band recommendation: “Curl Up and Die” and their album “Unfortunately We’re Not Robots”. Robyn’s underrated band pick: Common Rider (Jesse Michael from Op Ivy). Some other underrated Boston bands they hyped: Reach the Sky and Street Dogs.
