Rob and Leah Holman of Obion County are enjoying a new Kubota tractor on their farm after finishing second in the Tennessee Young Farmers and Ranchers Achievement Award competition. As part of their award, the Holmans were presented with the tractor for one year or up to 250 hours of use.

The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration is underway in Shelbyville, marking its 88th year. The historic event showcases one of Tennessee’s signature breeds and remains a beloved staple for horse enthusiasts and the community.

This year more around $115,000 was raised at the Tennessee 4-H Picnic at the State Fair. This money goes to help give kids the opportunity to go to camp and participate in other 4-H programs.
