A Picture tells a Thousand Stories was the theme for our June 19 event in conjunction with Belfast Photo Festival: nine stories, nine photos. Here are three of them: Heather Fleming remembers her mum’s advice about underwear & accidents…too late; Donna Hunter brings the audience to tears with her tale of family, love & guardian angels; Caroline Orr is astounded in Armagh. Pádraig has a mini-story about measles, foxy hair & a tea cosy. Paul is your host.
You can see the pictures & the storytellers at our social media feeds: Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
Tenx9 was founded in Belfast in 2011 by Pádraig Ó Tuama & Paul Doran and is a live event where nine people have up to ten minutes to tell a true story from their own life.
It has spread to other cities in Australia, USA, England, Scotland & Netherlands. Check out the website: tenx9.com for more information.
