Tonight, the first group of travelers will get to experience the new Terminal 1 at San Diego International Airport. The last U.S. exit before the U.S. Mexico border, Camino De La Plaza, will close starting at 9 tonight for overnight pipe installation. A growing number of parents and families with middle-school age students are hoping to put a stop to a handful of school closures announced by San Diego Unified School District leaders earlier this month.
