In honor of our two-year anniversary, we decided to take a look back at one of the best Part II's of all-time: Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This wasn't just our first experience with the Terminator franchise as kids - it was also one of the first R-rated movies we were allowed to watch. There are still a lot of fans who would argue that this follow-up is actually superior to the original in many ways, but no matter which side of that debate you come down on, we can probably all agree that this is an incredible achievement in the sci-fi/action genre. Topics include: the fact that Donna and Carlos still haven't seen the original Terminator, how T2 is able to stand so well on its own, why the T-1000 is one of the greatest movie villains ever created, the clever reversals on elements from the first film, the opposing character arcs of Sarah and the T-800, the realization that the T-1000 isn't a very skilled hunter, how our heroes almost win the final battle completely by chance, a potentially more interesting resolution that fixes the one major paradox the final moments create, and much much more!
