Feast of Pentecost and Shavuot is complete but the purification of fire is still touching our souls so that we can become more Christ-like in this season and build our faith before the next new month of Tammuz which begins sundown on June 28. Tammuz is characteristic of many things but one being Mantle Assignments. In this month of Sivan as we remember the  Word coming forth on Mt. Sinai and the fire of God on the mountain, we are reminded that God loves us and He disciplines us as in Hebrews 12. But we have come now through Jesus the mediator of a new covenant to Mt. Zion. We are now called to follow Him because He loves us and has made us right by His blood. Following Him often means we have purification fire of our souls to continue to grow into His likeness.
