Texas Born Daniel McCutchen knows the car wash business and proves it with his most recent venture, Big League Car Wash with multiple locations popping up in one of the fastest growing cities in America, none other than New Braunfels, Texas.

No secret to emergent success, Dan grew up as a preacher's child in Oklahoma playing short stop during his high school days. He walked-on at an NCAA Division II school out of high school and ended up awarded a baseball scholarship at the University of Oklahoma. Drafted four (4) times by the Yankees, Cardinals, Devil Rays, and then the Yankees again he eventually signed with the Yankees in 2006, finally making it to the Big Leagues in 2009 with the Pittsburg Pirates and playing for 11 seasons.

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with an Economics degree, Dan always had business on his mind. He attributes his success to God and emphasizes that throughout his athletic career he wasn’t necessarily “rich” but he put a disciplined financial plan together to save his money with one more play in mind: Big League Car Wash.

  • ***BONUS: James McNeely Guided Meditation***

James McNeely is a triathlete, adventure-seeker, and successful businessperson, with over 30 years of experience in the fast-paced, ed-tech industry.  Some of the companies that he’s worked for are well known success stories, like Apple Computer, Toshiba, and Pearson - the world’s largest education company.

In his work roles, he’s served in both sales and sales management, acquiring decades of experience with both customers and sales employees.  McNeely admits, however, to having the most “fun” as a customer-facing salesperson, while working for small, cutting edge startups, endeavoring to bring new technology to students and ground-breaking teaching tools to educators.

In his book, “The 7 Meditations of a Happy Salesman”, he chronicles his quest to uncover truth in the strange, but rewarding, life of the frontline customer worker. He offers new thinking for the 21st Century businessperson, while also exposing mindless “groupthink” and business mantras for what they really are.

On the personal side, McNeely and his wife of 35 years have two grown children and two grandchildren.  When he’s not working with customers or chasing after grandkids, he’s training for bike races, open water swims (like Alcatraz), or triathlons.

  • Ashley Mills, Co-Owner of Right Angle Inspections & Pest Control

Ashley Mills co-owns and operates Right Angle Inspection and Pest Services with her husband, Danny Mills. Prior to owning these two companies, she was a full-time Dental Hygienist for 14 years.

Why did she make the switch to managing and owning her own business? Ashley says, "Four reasons: I was ready for a change after 11-12 years of dental hygiene, I am fascinated and love the real estate industry and looking at the homes on the market, I like interacting with people, and then COVID hit.  My husband started the home inspection business himself and he just got very busy and needed more help. We slowly transitioned me from full-time hygiene to full time scheduling and marketing of Right Angle Inspection."
