Galatians 2:15-21

Paul makes it very clear. No one, whether Jew or Gentile, is justified by works of the law. Everyone, both Jew and Gentile, is justified by faith in Jesus. Andrew and Edwin what that justifying faith is and what it looks like.

Andrew and Edwin consider the time when we need to stand up and fight instead of just going along to get along. There is a time when unity is not the greatest goal, but preserving what we are supposed to unite around. Above all, we must preserve the gospel, because only then are we saving souls.

Galatians 1:10-24

Andrew and Edwin dig into what the "revelation of Jesus Christ" actually was. What was revealed to Paul. Additionally, they discuss the apologetic value of this claim. Something happened on the Road to Damascus that turned this hostile persecutor into a great proponent. What was it? You can't dismiss it. You have to come up with a reasonable explanation.

Galatians 1:10-24

Paul starts his argument in response to the notion that he has changed what he teaches about the gospel. Andrew and Edwin notice his first argument is about the fact that he received the gospel by revelation of Jesus Christ. In other words, if the gospel came from a revelation of Christ, why would he change what he taught when people started asking him to? This sets the stage for an important life principle for disciples. We need to please Christ, not people.
