Galatians 1:10-24

Paul starts his argument in response to the notion that he has changed what he teaches about the gospel. Andrew and Edwin notice his first argument is about the fact that he received the gospel by revelation of Jesus Christ. In other words, if the gospel came from a revelation of Christ, why would he change what he taught when people started asking him to? This sets the stage for an important life principle for disciples. We need to please Christ, not people.

Matthew 28:16-20

Jesus gives two steps for the making of disciples: Baptize them and teach them to obey. Andrew and Edwin talk about how surprising it is in the modern milieu that it isn't teach them to believe or teach them to accept. Instead, it is teach them to obey. That, of course, ties in with the previous conversation on Jesus's authority.

Matthew 28:11-15

When the soldiers told the priests and elders what had happened at the tomb, they came up with a counternarrative. They bribed the soldiers and sent them out to tell a story that still gets repeated today. As frustrating as that is, Andrew and Edwin discuss the apologetic value of the council's need for this story. The empty tomb is not something to be dismissed. No matter your take on it, you have to come up with an explanation. Further, it has to be an explanation that makes sense.
