Lt. Aquiel Uhnari works at a communications relay station way out in the middle of nowhere. She might be dead, she might be a killer, or she might be a pile of coalescent microorganisms. Doesn't matter: either way, Geordi has got the hots for her. This week, Aquiel goes into the Mission Log.

Chance Encounter with Gary O’Brien.
Gary O’Brien, director of the recently released Star Trek fan film Chance Encounter, began his filmmaking career in his early teens. His passion for the art led him to the opportunity to work on the James Bond film Die Another Day, on which he was a visual effects technician.
In this episode of Continuing Mission, host Tony Robinson talks to Gary about those early days. Along the way, we discuss the product of Gary’s latest filmmaking venture.

Enemy Unseen: Perchance to Dream.
Captain Picard and the intrepid crew of the Starship Enterprise must stop a political assassination by extremists on a newly-admitted Federation world, all while battling their own inner demons thanks to a terrifying telepathic weapon. And the key to defeating that weapon can be found in the most unlikely place: the mind of Jean-Luc Picard!
In this week's episode of Literary Treks, hosts Dan Gunther and Bruce Gibson discuss "Perchance to Dream" by Keith R.A. Decandido, the first part in IDW's comic collection Enemy Unseen. We talk about Data's dreams, how the Damiano scandal mirrors our own society, Worf's security shortcomings, the crew's inner fears, Picard's multiple personalities, and finish with our ratings.
In the news segment, we preview new comics coming in June from IDW and review issue #4 of the Star Trek/Green Lantern crossover series, Stranger Worlds.

Iron Fist.
Marvel's Netflix series have seen quite a bit of success beginning with Daredevil, then leading into Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, but before we get to The Defenders there is one more stop they had to make in K'un-Lun to pick up a wayward kung fu master.
In this supplemental episode of The 602 Club host Matthew Rushing is joined by Daniel Proulx to talk about Iron Fist. We discuss our first impressions, the characters, plot and premise, fight scenes, the music, The Defenders and our ratings.
