Lucy Livesey is joining us today to talk about Mindfulness meditation and well-being during and after loss. Lucy is a mental health nurse and well-being practitioner and set up Relax with Lucy & Co. in 2017 after experiencing the death of her daughter Ellie in a TFMR.

Just a little heads up, Hayley goes off on one and lets loose a couple of F-bombs - sorry about that! She was pretty pissed to hear how some people refuse to accept that ANYONE can be effected by baby loss (of any kind) and has a right to be well supported with compassionate care.

We talk about how meditation, and specifically how mindfulness meditation, can help us through our grieving process and look after our mental well-being by teaching us to befriend even those very difficult emotions like fear and anger.

Lucy tells us how her app, Ellie's Gift, helps to prepare expectant parents when they are facing the death of their baby to remain calm and relaxed through the birthing process.
