Scripture: Matthew 5:17-48

Homework: Make a kindgom ID. Using a PostIt note or something similar, write out one or all of the words of our God-given identity affirmed at baptism: loved, chosen, and delightful. Put that ID somewhere you will see it and/or feel it, such as on your mirror, on your computer, in your pocket or on your dashboard. You might also want to make an ID for someone that is in need of remembering it, or perhaps someone whom you are having a loving. Good luck!

Homework: follow the clarity of your heart. We all have situations in which it is hard to make decisions. There are often so many options that we find it hard to act with the simplicity of the character that God has given us. This week, take five minutes to listen to your heart-- listen to the Spirit working in you. Follow that. However unclear your path seems, the salt and light God gives you will provide your way.
