  • Barista

Bahadır Han Eryılmaz, better known as Barista, is an Istanbul-based musician whose genre-defying, soul-ascending strain of music compels people to truly listen. An introvert by nature, he attributes his body of eclectic studio work to helping him to better understand himself, and to be fully immersed in a world of expression and escapism. Making music inspires him to translate quietude, heart, mood, night and day, with lyrics abundant with purpose and emotion, Barista's music radiates a beautiful aura of authenticity, purpose, and pride throughout.

Having only begun his venture into music eight years ago, Barista's 'learn as he goes' mentality has been pivotal to the release of his two albums. His debut release, 'Daydream', premiered in 2014 and was quickly followed up by '57' in 2016. His third album, ‘Open Sesame’ is the continuation of these two earlier projects and is set for release on April 16, 2021. The tunes Han creates are heavily influenced by his own experiences, while also echoing musical inspiration from the likes of Toto, Journey, Supertramp, The Alan Parsons Project, and an array of Turkish folk tradition including Sufism. Above all, he is dedicated to bringing vibe back to music -- it’s raw, liberating, authentic. In his words, Barista makes the music that he misses hearing. Fully focused on his creations, he possesses no drive for commercial success, allowing him to be fully

free to create the type of music he loves.

Relaxing, spirited, and magical, listeners have described his albums as multi-layered, full of substance and detail, while his lyrics convey a theme and an experience of unity. Representative more of an inner world than pop culture, each note builds into the next

    for a cumulative experience.

Barista’s latest album Open Sesame is his most powerful yet. By collaborating both live in-studio (all instrumentals are recorded live) and through modern tech, the album represents Barista’s vision. The recordings, excluding the Turkish vocals, were made at Carbonite Sound in the ‘musician’s colony’ of Ojai, CA. With features from Jesse Siebenberg (Supertramp, Kenny Loggins), Rudiger (Guns' Roses, Velvet Revolver), Sara Azriel, (Pink Martini), and Lydia Salnikova (Kenny Rogers, BO) as well as Barista's musical idol Simon Phillips on drums, the 26-track album engineered by Jason Mariani is to be released via Turkish indie label MonoPlay Records on April 16th 2021.

With nothing mainstream about Barista’s albums, music lovers will rejoice with a single listen. Tune in to explore a refreshing take on soulful music that is a moving experience from start to finish.

  • Massimo Parlermo

This is a story about Gianni, a man whose mission was to lead a simple lifestyle of finding love and getting married and starting a family. He wanted to live out this dream he had since he was in his late teens, and he endured many obstacles over the years to get to where he felt he needed to reach his goal. This story takes place over many years of his life and covers his many different trials and tribulations while growing up from a shy kid to a confident adult. It also covers the reasons he goes through his struggles of finding love and how he tried to lead the simple life and the examples of what he did to maintain the simple lifestyle. Sometimes it was a completely innocent encounter, but nothing was simple for Gianni because no matter where he went, trouble would begin for him. Many times, his friends would be surprised or shocked by these encounters with women even though they would see it happen in front of their own eyes, but the person who was most often surprised was Gianni himself. Because he had many different encounters and circumstances with women that were beyond his control, the dream that he had envisioned was altered and led him to live a completely opposite lifestyle that he was seeking. Not only did he have many different encounters with women in his life, but these encounters would also happen to him anywhere he would be. And it did not matter what his age was, whether he was a teenager or when he was already in his forties. Once he started into the opposite lifestyle, could he turn back in time to reverse course and accomplish his original mission?

  • J Versez

A statement made by the successful perfectionist Drake, a statement that is fully embodied by J. Versez feeling he has much to prove to his peers, family, and ultimately to himself. Born to Michelle Williams a young 20-year-old mother in college and Kevin Hampton just an 18-year-old senior in high school. Justin was Louisiana born and Texas raised in the city of Houston. Justin Williams "J. Versez" is a smooth sounding artist that brings meaningful lyrics combined with his commercial appeal to bring a new vibe to the Rap/R&B genre. Influenced by great artists such as Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Childish Gambino, Mac Miller, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Pharrell. J. Versez is very versatile with his vocal abilities to compliment the tones of his beats.

But, this artist wasn't always in the pursuit of music Justin grew up with a huge interest in playing sports. His mother and father both are former basketball players and come from a family of athletes. It seemed it was an inevitability his first love was basketball playing from the age of 5 years old up until his final year of high school. Although Justin was primarily an athlete he was no stranger to the art of music but, a different kind of music altogether. In his mother's efforts to make sure her only son was a well rounded black young man. Justin was introduced to the classical band, his instrument of choice was the trombone. But, his love of basketball was greater than his interest in classical music. After his freshman year of high school, Justin decided to put all his efforts into the sport he loved and put any musical aspirations to the side. But it all seemed to be in vain in the end. With the lack of growth in height in a sport that caters to the giants of the world. Justin found himself in his senior year benched with no scholarship offers insight to further his career in basketball. After graduating in the class of 2012, it was clear that his time as a pro basketball hopeful has come to an end. He found himself lost and without purpose moving back to his hometown of Baton Rouge Louisiana.

Little did he know this was the start of a new chapter and a new journey in the pursuit of music. Being back home and close to his father again, Justin decided it was time to live with his father to strengthen their relationship. Spending most of his freshman year of college living with his dad who was a rapper/producer since Justin was just a baby. He found himself back into old habits which are being his dad's number one fan and supporter of his music career. Mainly always being supported from behind the scenes. Justin was very familiar with being a cameraman, video editor, managing social media accounts. These roles were just fine for him in the past because he was always a shy kid and never wanted to be in the spotlight. But, Justin's attitude has changed since graduating high school. Being 18 years old and becoming an adult and being fed up with being in his shell constantly fading in the background. In an effort to want to break out of his shy habits, one day Justin decided to tell the one thing that his dad thought he would never hear from his son. Justin told him "I am down to help again with your music, but pops I want to get behind the mic this time". After the moment of disbelief had passed his dad Kevin asked Justin "are you sure"? Justin replied with confidence and his dad gave him a look of approval and turned to his computer. "Here take this beat with you and write a verse to it, come back and let's see what you got," Kevin said. After two days had passed Justin came back to his dad with his verse. Rapped for his dad for the first time and was impressed with his writing ability. Kevin thought that he would have ghostwritten for his son. Was blown away at his natural ability.

He is the creator and performer of the character Barry from Watford on Steve Wright's BBC Radio 2 show and Iain Lee's shows, as well as also being the creator and performer behind the character Clinton Baptiste, originally seen in Phoenix Nights, as whom he has since toured.

Upcoming Prime Video release “The Diabolical Schemes of Thadeus Jackson” by award-winning director Brandon Crowson is a new-age indie superhero movie that has already won several awards at prestigious film festivals. August 13, 2021: A new indie superhero movie is making big waves in the esteemed film festivals across the world. Titled “The Diabolical Schemes of Thadeus Jackson”, the movie has earned rave reviews from critics and has also won as many as 9 awards in 3 countries, including 3 best action/adventure film awards in various film festivals. The film will be released shortly on Prime Video in the coming month. “The Diabolical Schemes of Thadeus Jackson” is scheduled to have its Premiere on September 2, 2021, at the Parkway Theater, Minneapolis. Following the Premiere, the film will be officially released on Prime Video worldwide and DVD September 3, 2021. Tickets to the premiere are on sale now! The award-winning indie superhero film is directed by Minneapolis-based award-winning filmmaker Brandon Crowson, with Sean Simmons, Nathan Cade, and Madeline Fleming in major roles. Shot in the summer of 2018, the film was produced and organized as a profit sharing arrangement between Son Of A Crow Productions in Minneapolis, Green Screen Studios in St. Paul, and dozens of artists in the Twin Cities area- under the able leadership of writer-director-producer Brandon Crowson. “The Diabolical Schemes of Thadeus Jackson'' revolves around the story of Thadeus Jackson, played by Sean Simmons. Jackson plays the role of a former NSA Agent who is out on a mission to kill The Supremacist, Defender of Capitalism and The American Way, and is ready to risk it all to make the world a better place. Indie actor Nathan Cade portrays the role of The Supremacist here while Madeline Fleming dons the character of Madeline the Telekinetic. Speaking of the film, Crowson revealed that the movie was inspired by the ethos of strong protest against the ongoing oppression and brutality directed at people of color. Interestingly, the film comes with a unique approach towards the treatment of its hero and villain that has broken the stereotypical outlook towards “heroes” and “villains” in a film. The protagonist of the movie isn’t a hero at all but a man seeking revenge against forces far more powerful than he is. On the other hand, the villain in the film is being reported by the media as a “superhero”, whose crimes have been inspired by specific instances of police brutality. “I was tired of going to Black Lives Matter protests that don’t change anything- so I decided to channel my anger into my second film.”, stated Brandon when asked what inspired the film. There’s a scene in the movie where The Supremacist chokes a black man to death while giving a long winded "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" speech. The character's last words are "I can't breathe." Per the statements of the award-winning director, that scene was supposed to be a nod to Eric Garner, whose last words were "I can't breathe”, when he was murdered by the NYPD in 2014. While Mr. Crowson was editing the climax of the film, George Floyd was killed by the Minneapolis Police 1.5 miles from Mr. Crowson’s home. His last words also being, “I can’t breathe.” “I made this film as a dark humored social commentary about various serious issues that have only gotten worse in the time it took me to edit the film. That's the America I live in.” “The Diabolical Schemes of Thadeus Jackson” had its theatrical world premiere on May 1, 2021, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, at the MLC Awards where it won the awards of Best Action/Adventure Film and Best of the Semester. Actor Joseph Gainer won Best Scene Stealing Actor while Actress Andi Hanson won Best Scene Stealing Actress at that same festival. The film has also won the award of Best Action Feature Film at Another Hole In The Head Presents: Warped Dimension, San Francisco’s longest running genre film festival. It has further been acknowledged with the award of “Best Action Film” at the Spring Grove Caledonia Film Festival as well.

  • Sultan Of Rock

Sultan of Rock is a musical alter ego. Previously I've been very active as Digbijoy Dutta, a.k.a DigB, former artist of Bentley Records, USA. But, it's time that I start that one thing that was awaiting me since I was born.

Rock music has been the main source of inspiration for me to pick up the guitar and come this far. Growing up in a musical environment, this road has been really exciting so far. I've played in many gigs, local festivals and also in many bands, that includes the time when I was studying music in Malaysia around 2019.

Got signed to Bentley Records, released a couple of songs including singles and one solid hard rock album, really opened some doors for the future.

Now, I'm back to square one, as I decided to start from scratch and focus more on rock n roll. Hence, Sultan of Rock, a long awaited name, finally in use. I hail from India, Shillong is the place where I belong actually, considered to be the rock n roll capital of India....

Although there's less info on the web about Sultan of Rock right now except my newly released songs(2 singles), this will be the Debut interview of Sultan of Rock, which is really great.

Time to break a new ground.
