The world is changing. At irregular intervals, whole swathes of the world meld into one another, creating completely new landscapes. Where there were mountains yesterday, now a great forest resides. Where sweeping plains existed, now a great canyon plunges into the deep. Where there were hills, steep mountains rise. Rainforests turn to desert and deserts into grasslands, all in a matter of minutes or hours. There is no telling when a meld will come, or what causes it. Only certain signs can be read, that normally lead to a meld happening, but not always. Such as raindrops hanging still in the air, or sound echoing where it should not. Smoke will no longer rise, but drift. Water no longer flows but remains static. This all is highly erratic and you have to see it to believe it.
In this world, most peoples are nomadic by necessity rather than choice. There are some who attempt at sedentary lives, but when a meld catches them, they are forced to flee and start over, or join those who spend their existence on the move.
“The society” our hero belongs to is not sedentary nor nomadic, instead they are of a unique sort that combine the best of both worlds, living in houses that are built on wheels. They hold livestock and use their animals to move their villages around when the quillers and soothsayers report a meld could be imminent. In this society, they have a religious system that deals with predestination and prophecy. Every member of this tribe knows these prophesies and treats them as fact. The Hierophant is the head of the religion, and is said to have seen beyond the merging worlds into the one-ness that is all. His officers, the heads of the church are called soothsayers, and their subordinates again are called seers.
The leader of the society is called the magister, and is the head of a circle of important figures who lead the society together, called the council. Its members are councilors, but hold different offices within the council.
Everyone in the society gets an education from the seers and soothsayers. This makes the society literate and educated. They can read-write and keep records, traditions and religions. This is why they produce quillers as well.
The father of James Reed, named Christopher Reed, is the assistant-quiller of the council, a very important man within the society.
James Reed’s mother, Emma Reed-Crawling, is a seer, so both parents hold some standing within society.
James' older brother is called Chris Reed. He is seen by most as the chosen one of one of the prophecies. This caused him to walk beside his own shoes. In fact, Chris can talk and boast a lot, but not much more.
When Chris was young, he survived a very brutal meld on his own, in the wild. And came walking into town without a scratch on him, two days later. Which caused him to be seen as the one.
Beside the society, there are many other groups of people in the world. Many have been heard of or have been encountered, as a world that changes greatly makes for very mobile societies. Most societies try to find their way in the world as well as they can, dealing with other societies in trade and knowledge exchange. While there are some tribes who prefer dominance and violence: The Seekers are one of those tribes, and they are a bane to the society as much as to any other tribe out there.

Today, Grammy Nominated Reggae/Dancehall Artist Paul Anthony, in conjunction with Starburst Records announced the upcoming release of Dream Sequences, a 10 track Mixtape combining chill LoFi Hip-Hop Beats with relaxing, introspective lyrical content written and performed by Paul to be available at music streaming platforms everywhere on June 25, 2021. This represents a significant crossing over from Mr. Anthony’s predominantly Reggae and Dancehall style of the past 15+ years into the LoFi HipHop arena.
Paul Anthony’s popularity has recently increased dramatically after scoring a Grammy Nomination for his involvement with The Wailers’ “Best Reggae” Album “One World” on which Paul co-wrote with Emilio Estefan and was a Featured Artist for the songs “Philosophy of Life” and “Only In Jamaica”.
Paul collaborated on the writing and production of these 10 tracks on the Dream Sequences Mixtape with Starburst Records LoFi Artists Tokoname, distant.face and Strewing. All 10 songs were mixed and mastered by Jamaican born Producer, Artist and Engineer Solstarr. Paul stated that listening to this brand new collection of songs is “perfect for nighttime activities. They also offer a powerful musical remedy for dealing with anxiety by facilitating relaxation and deep thought.”
Track 1 “Overthinker” immediately tugs on the fibers of raw human emotion and condition to “Overthink” our every move. Track 6 “Flow” talks about falling in love in the digital age via social media. Track 7 “No Rush” takes us on a late night drive set to a starry night sky for mental clarity and intimacy. Track 3 “Poetry In Motion” is about the beauty of life, taking into account both the negative and positive, with a hopeful tone.
Paul Anthony knew at an early age that he was destined for a life in music. He was born in Boca Raton FL, son of a Canadian mother and a Jamaican father. Heavily influenced by his dad, singer/entertainer Pat Satchmo, Paul began his journey as a songwriter, recording artist, and performer when he was just 12 years old.
Despite growing up outside of the Caribbean, Paul was raised to stay in tune with his roots. He recalls feeling deeply connected to his culture listening to Reggae and Dancehall music. He developed a love and admiration for Hip Hop as well, particularly the way lyrics were cleverly woven together by rappers. His style is constantly evolving as he seeks to strike a seamless balance between his Reggae/Dancehall foundation and Hip Hop influence to create an organic sound that is uniquely his own.
In an interview with the Sun Sentinel, Cedella Marley, Daughter of Reggae Legend Bob Marley and C.E.O of Tuff Gong International said, “Paul is very talented and has an eclectic style that I really like. He blends Dancehall and Reggae in a contemporary way. He sounds like somebody who just came out of Jamaica. I just closed my eyes and listened to his sound."
Paul Anthony believes music has the power to change lives. He proclaims, “Music is such a powerful, influential art form. I feel most accomplished as an artist when a person tells me that my songs helped them through a tough time, or made a positive impact on their life. That is my WHY.”

The self-proclaimed musical child of early-Aerosmith and Johnny Winter, the roots of ‘Izzie’s Caravan’ trace back to the early 2000’s when Izzie (guitars) and Sim (vocals) formed ‘The Deep Impacters’. The band soon disbanded after a couple of records, and becoming disillusioned by the music industry, Izzie
took a decades-long respite from guitar, eventually returning to the instrument he loved, just a few years ago. Referring to himself as a “poor man’s Buddy Guy or Lightnin’ Hopkins,” Izzie cites bands like Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith as early influences, followed by later guitarists like Izzy Stradlin and John Frusciante. But, it was the blues of Stevie Ray, Clapton, John Lee Hooker, Johnny Winter, Muddy Waters, and of course, Buddy Guy, that inspired Izzie’s return to music.
In December of 2019, Izzie’s Caravan released the EP, ‘Leo’s Guitar’, followed by the February 2020 EP, ‘Zephyrs’. Izzie’s next EP, titled ‘On The Pull’ was released on June 17, 2020 with MTS Records. The record saw much success reaching the Relix Jamband Charts and a #1 iTunes single (‘Drownin’ Man’s Blues’).
Reunited with Sim, and joined by Robbie (keys) and Roque (bass), the band is set to release a full-length album in the Summer of 2021 titled ‘Blow The Lid’. However, to keep the music flowing, the band will be releasing one song every month for the next ten months from the album. Visit the following links to check out slamming singles from the new album including ‘Stick It To Ya’ and ‘Roadkill Rita’.
