Who's got the pain when we do Act 2 of Damn Yankees?! Joe rethinks his plans for the Washington Senators and Applegate has plans for Joe. Will Joe get the upperhand or will he loose his immortal soul?!B

For October, we're tackling the 1955 musical about selling your soul just for baseball. We don't understand that motive but still. It's time to give Lola what she wants and it's not those Damn Yankees!!

We finish up the review show Closer Than Ever, including the songs Patterns and If I Sing, aka musical theater school standards!

We're taking a small break to do a revue show! Closer Than Ever is a theater school staple, and today, we break down the vignettes and history of the show!

We're joined by Amanda and Jodie of multiple podcasts to go back in time to finish up the Pirates of Penzance!!! You can find more about Amanda and Jodie at https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/we-love-to-hate-everything/id1387310266

We're joined by Amanda and Jodie of multiple podcasts to go back in time to the Pirates of Penzance!!! If you think this is an old fashioned and outdated musical, you're not wrong but that doesn't mean it's not funny and not worth listening to!!! We finish Pride Month with act two (or three?) of Falsettos, the 2/3rds of the whole Marvin/In Trousers trilogy. Marvin and Whizzer have broken up. Marvin and Trina are planning Jason's bar mitzvah and tensions are high. And since this is about gay men in the 80s, AIDS is pretty prominent.
