Thank You, Five

We dive into 2022 with a blast from the past! It's She Loves Me! Take a trip into this musical with a long history on the stage before it was ever set to music. EDIT: This show does deal with self harm. Please be careful and we will understand if you need to skip this episode and the next!

We need a little Christmas even though it's after Christmas! Mame is married and back to being wealthy and now it's time to check in with Patrick while Mame goes on a honeymoon. Spend your mid holiday break with us!

What we need is a little Christmas, right this very minute, and you know who's gonna provide that? It's Mame!!!! The star vehicle for Angela Lansbury and the show that showed us that Bea Arthur was NEVER in the chorus is here to close out the year in STYLE!

Matt and David finish up Act 2 of City of Angels! Who did the deed and what will happen to Stone and Stine?!! Grab your Ovaltine and sit by the radio to find out!

We start our November journey into a musical with a musical we're REALLY thankful for. Cy Coleman's City of Angels. 40's jazz and black and white movies and quippy one liners about the state of L.A.!

Matt and David finish up Act 2 of Jekyll and Hyde. We find a New Life in some Murder, Murder, and proceed to play a Dangerous Game before getting into the finale Confrontation and reprising Facade for the 100th time.

We're starting up spooky season with Broadway's Gothic Thriller Musical! This show is chock full of adaptations and character changes and song changes and revivals and international recordings! Get ready for a roller coaster of gothic proportions!

We're taking a small break this week to talk about what's coming back, what's already come back, what's coming up, and what we've sadly lost in Broadway and Off Broadway worlds.

Broadway is coming back and we're back with Sarah Ifft Decker of the Media-Eval podcast!!! If you don't know, it's a musical about the six wives of Henry VIII, who have all decided to form a girl group, and are now on tour! We talk a LOT about history and the musical and a myriad of other fun stuff. For more information about Media-Eval, please go to @mediaevalpod on Twitter!

Matt and David finish up The Music Man! The Wells Fargo Wagon has come and gone and it's time for the Shipoopi! Grab your Greecian urns and get ready!
