A group of teachers did a mad scramble for cash to fund their classrooms.  Many are upset at the gross spectacle, enraged that public schools aren't properly funded as is. Did this "money grab" serve a purpose other than to excite some fans?  Or is there more to it, long term?

A new program in California school districts will eliminate "Fs" and "Ds" from the grading system.  Are we empowering our kids to succeed or just giving them free handouts?

Discussing the hearing on Roe vs Wade.  Is fear enough to justify taking a life?  Does America hold a double standard in this question?

Reading a book by Andy Norman called "Mental Immunity".  In it, he discusses why people cling to bad ideas, and how we can fix it.  I found an interesting passage on distinguishing rationalizing from reasoning that I thought is a good reminder for all of us.
