If you don't believe the FDA, the CDC, President Joe Biden, or your own doctor, you should believe the Military.  Here's why.

As a follow up to my last video, I just wanted to clarify my views on bodily autonomy in case there were some that didn't know I was being satirical.

Today I'm responding to a question I received regarding how to feel better about the desperate and often depressing anxieties we may feel about the future of the planet and society.

California Assembly Bill 73 passed Senate Committee hearing this week.  Heading to Governor Newsom's desk.  

The Bill would designate California's 800,000 farm and agriculture workers as "essential", thereby giving them access to California's stockpile of N95 masks to protect them when working outdoors in smoky conditions.

As the title suggests, I don't like to and very rarely talk on foreign policy and international conflict.  I have a few reasons for this.  I want to just say a couple things about the noise surrounding Afghanistan.  I probably won't be talking about this here again.

Kids are going back to school in person.  COVID cases are spiking.  Students and teachers are imposing quarantines.  The Delta Variant is spiraling out of control.  Hospitals are being overrun, and now that includes children.  How are we going to make in person school work without vaccine mandates?

Cloth masks absolutely are effective in slowing down the spread of COVID-19.  But to protect against the hazards of smoke inhalation you need an N95.  

If you're in an area in or near wildfire smoke, please be sure to check your Air Quality Index (AQI) daily.  It can tell you how hazardous particular areas of your town are at a given time.  Sometimes you can't smell the smoke, but the hazards are still there.
