  • Look At Moi, I've Got One Word To Say To You: What's Your Zodiac Sign!?
Ahh the zodiac signs, astrology and crystals; something that some of us *cough THAYLAR* wholeheartedly stand by. From you sun, moon and ascending sign its like an episode of Avatar the Last Airbender up in here!
Thaylar takes Aiesha through the journey of Co-Star ( https://www.costarastrology.com/ ) and reads out her Zodiac signs while also discussing Thaylars.
It’s a whole heap of general astrology meme chat. Please do not take anything we say seriously.

  • Pole Dancing 2.0: Conversations with Sex Workers & The Broader Community

Welcome Back to That Being Said. Last season we chatted about our personal experiences and our love for Pole Dancing. The episode had a massive response! We got a ton of insight from our listeners, friends in the community and beyond, we absolutely knew this was a topic to revisit!  In this weeks episode we wanted to highlight some voices from individuals that are or have been, both professional sex workers and also involved in pole dance as a hobby. Through interviewing these people we wanted to take a moment to recognise the on-going hurdles facing sex workers when participating in an activity that their industry pioneered. We really hope you listen to the responses we received today and go on to further educate yourself on the topic, and ensure you're well equipped to be an ally. We also took a few responses from people in our smaller community as well as people who have never participated in pole!   we truly hope you take todays episode on board and use it to further your knowledge. This community is full of aspects we should be actively dissecting and critiquing in order to better our spaces, todays episode highlights just one and we are confident there will be more space to revisit Pole Dancing again.

  • Recap: Holiday Break & Goals For The New Year

EPISODE 1 S2  We are back in your ears this week after our holiday break!!  This first episode of 2022 and the new season is finally here!!!

This weeks episode is a nice chill one to start the season, a recap on what we had gotten up to during the holiday break that didn’t feel quite long enough, along with what we are looking forward to in the new year and personal goals we are hoping to achieve in 2022

Dont forget, if you want to join us in this months That Being Said Book Club, we will be chatting about Braving the Wilderness, by Brene Brown PhD, LMSW - The quest for True Belonging and The courage to stand alone.

The following description has come directly for browns website:
Belonging so fully to yourself that you’re willing to stand alone is a wilderness—an untamed, unpredictable place of solitude and searching. It is a place as dangerous as it is breathtaking, a place as sought after as it is feared. The wilderness can often feel unholy because we can’t control it, or what people think about our choice of whether to venture into that vastness or not. But it turns out to be the place of true belonging, and it’s the bravest and most sacred place you will ever stand.
you can learn more about the book and the author here, https://brenebrown.com/
We are so excited to start our little book club! we would love to hear about a book you want us to read and chat about!

We have such an amazing season planned for you angels ! Along with a few special guests who we are SO excited about
