Mental Illness 2.0 - It can feel like sometimes you take two steps forward then five steps back. Mental health is a complex subject with so many different experiences, everyone has a different story and different ways of working through their personal issues. It is not a OSFA situation and unfortunately sometimes people truly do not understand mental illnesses, hell sometimes those who suffer with mental illnesses may not fully understand it. Mental illnesses are incredibly complex. Is the glass half full or half empty? In the ever evolving climate we live in, it is hard sometimes to feel like progress is being made feeling like it has hit a brick wall.
Aiesha and Thaylar take a dive into their current situations in regards to their mental health and speak about their own personal development since the last time they spoke on it in November 2021. While also speaking about strategies and techniques that has since helped them.

Thaylar and Aiesha talk about ‘Grind Culture’ and the toxic affect it takes place on your mental health and friendships with family and friends. Thaylar speaks about how she manages working 3 jobs, some that require almost constantly being available while struggling to manage relationships and self care. Along with Aiesha speaking on how grind culture has affected her life working in a male dominated industry and what struggles she faces with constantly working and going that extra mile to feel seen in the industry in what can be a struggle and a one way ticket to burnt out city.
