Have you ever felt imposter syndrome? But what is it exactly? I know I have many times - especially with this new podcast.
This week I'm joined by one of Instagram's leading advocates for anxiety healing and mental health to discuss this internal struggle we all have at one time or another in our lives.
Alison Seponara, otherwise known as @theanxietyhealer on Instagram (and my best friend of almost 30 years) has created a devoted community of more than 570,000 people who turn to her day in and day out. She's the author of two incredible books - The Anxiety Healer's Guide: Coping Strategies and Mindfulness Techniques to Calm the Mind and Body, and her new book is currently available for pre-order, The Anxiety Healer's Guide for Clinicians. She's a licensed therapist with her own private practice, and she's the co-host of the highly successful podcast, The Anxiety Chicks. In this episode, she shares some valuable insight into what causes us to feel unworthy and how that belief can really hold us back.
Stay tuned to the end of the episode for the weekly "Work ON." Just like we all have our daily and weekly workouts, on That Greenwich Life, I'm leaving you each episode with your weekly "work ON": something small you can think about and do during the week that brings you more peace, balance and introspection. In this week's episode I'm offering something you can do to increase your self-worth, squash all that self-doubt and banish imposter syndrome once and for all.
In episode 3 of That Greenwich Life I'm digging deep into the insane pace of life we are ALL living, no matter where you call home. We think it's not our choice - but it is! I'm sharing how we can all slow down and live happier, more balanced lives. Stay tuned to the end of the episode for the weekly Work-ON.

Special thanks to @podpopulipodcasting - they take all the hard parts out of podcasting by graciously hosting me in their new Greenwich CT studio, and a heartfelt thanks also to our episode sponsors, Party Host Helpers and The Big Picture Art.
In Episode 2 of That Greenwich Life, I'm joined by People Magazine's Beauty and Style Director, Andrea Lavinthal, for a more in-depth discussion of the setting of this show and certainly one of its main characters – Greenwich, CT. You've seen her on The Today Show and the red carpets of all the major Hollywood awards shows. She's my friend, a mom of 2 and fellow Greenwich resident. Whether you live in Greenwich or not, most people can certainly relate to the universal struggle of being stuck in a less-than-ideal living situation and how stressful house hunting and making a big move can be. Stay tuned to the end for my weekly "Work ON." Just like we all have daily and weekly workouts, your weekly "Work ON" is something you can focus on as you go about your day-to-day that brings you more peace, introspection and balance in your life. In Episode 1 of That Greewich Life, your host Dorothy Cascerceri Simone shares what Living That Greenwich Life is all about, although you don't have to live in Greenwich, CT or even know where it is on a map to relate to this show. Just like we all have daily and weekly workouts, Dorothy is offering listeners a weekly "work ON" each week - something you can focus on as you go about your day to day that brings you more peace, introspection and balance in your life.
