  • EP: 27 The BVI and Some Black Bean Salad
Have you been to the British Virgin Islands? Our new friends at the BVI tourism board join us this week to talk about why you might want to spend some time on any one of their 60 beautiful islands. If you can’t make the Newport Boat Show next week, listen in as our guests Perla George and Shonda Maduro give us the inside scoop on traveling to their slice of Caribbean heaven. And if you’ve been thinking about whipping up some healthy and easy late summer dishes, Buck shares the details behind his delicious menu from our Farm to Stable YotMe party. Listen in! This week’s feature photo  provided by the British Virgin Islands Tourism Board (Note: We apologize in advance for the audio quality in portions of our guest interview this week. Weather and connectivity issues made things a bit challenging. • EP:26 We Had a YotMe Party
We had a YotMe party at our house. It was called “Farm to Stable” and it was way better than we thought it would be! Buck grilled up some artic char and paired it with black bean & corn salad and some delicious summer sides. While the food was pretty fab (the smoked bluefish paté went fast!) we fell in love – hard – with Motto Matcha Sparkling Tea that our new friend, Tom, was kind enough to bring and share. From the food and the beverages, to the beautiful energy that everyone brought to the party, we now firmly believe that everyone should YotMe. Listen in to find out why! • EP 25: What Is Love?
“If can, can. If no can, no can.” Learn about a simple, but powerful principle that can change the way you communicate with your partner and foster the love between you – whether you’re in a new relationship or if you have been married forever. Expectation and control issues in relationships can seriously undermine your love for each other. ‘If Can, Can. If No Can, No Can’ clears things up. And, if you’ve found your true love and are ready to promise your greatest efforts to that relationship, we chat with The Newport Bride blogger, Julianna Oates, about fall wedding trends. Consider warm blankets, opulent venues, and bourbon. Listen in!
