The Newport Charter Yacht Show is a trade show of sorts, bringing luxury charter yachts and their brokers together with industry professionals who support the boats, their crews, and provide services to this fascinating travel market. Buck and Helena went aboard several yachts, and this week, they share their discoveries with you. This year’s show was hosted by Newport Shipyard, and featured 29 yachts available for charters in New England, Florida, the Bahamas, and elsewhere. Buck and Helena spent a week on the island of Antigua in the West Indies. They rented a lovely cottage on the side of a mountain, overlooking the crystal blue waters of the caribbean sea, as well as a few stunning mega yachts docked at the Antigua Yacht Club. Join them this week as they recount their fun (and sometimes scary) adventures sailing, driving, and bar hopping around the island.
