Sometimes we all need a little bit of rest. The moment of peace that allows us to take a deep breathe and when we exhale release all the stress, anxiety, frustrations, and worry of our lives in a moment of release.

We've been called to seek and to save a lost and dying world, but do we understand those implications?

What if instead of "the world" being everything in creation we think of the world in a more personal way? There is a teaching in the Talmud that says

Instead of "saving the world" meaning everything, we worry about saving the whole world of each individual person that we meet? Saving them from the supervillain of illness, abuse, poverty, or their own bad decisions?

One day each of our worlds will end, but that doesn't mean that we can't do everything in our power to save each world today. Let's be superheroes in the face of the personal apocalypse facing so many around us.

The three Hebrew boys stood up to Nebuchadnezzar and boldly said that God is capable of delivering them, but even if he didn't they still wouldn't bow.

Will you stand even if God lets you go through the trial? Will you continue if the promised "prosperity" taught in many modern churches is not God's will? Will you continue to fight on even if God allows you to suffer, even die, for His Name's sake?

Those three boys stood to the king and they stood in the fiery furnace, but they were not alone. They were, however, willing to go to that same fiery furnace even if He didn't deliver them from it.

Our mission is the same. To stand in the face of opposition, adversity, and even persecution knowing that God is able to deliver us, even if He doesn't.

The Super Mario Bros. have made "Letsa Go!" into a catch phrase and a call to action that billions around the world have answered to join Mario on adventures through the Mushroom Kingdom for over 40 years.

Jesus made a similar call to those who sought to follow Him when He said the simple words "Follow me."

Will you choose to save a virtual kingdom and have nothing to show for it or will you choose to expand the Kingdom of Heaven and have eternity with God to show for it?

Adventure calls, how will you answer?

This week we take a look at the offer to exchange the ashes of our lives for the beauty that God has for us. What does the prophecy of Isaiah 61:3 mean and what does the beauty mean for our lives?

Many in this life are demoralized with the troubles and burdens of this life. No matter what you are facing, no matter what the dead bones standing before you are, know that with God on your side you can stand before the field of dry bones and speak life to the "dead" places in your life.

Prophecy to your situation, your dilemma, your circumstance and say that "I shall live, I shall not die!" Your anger, your depression, your struggle are not too much for your God. He is the God of the living, not the God of the dead! He will bring an end to the hopeless you see and bring hope and life!

Are you willing to sprint when the distance is unknown? Are you willing to stand for your beliefs when you don't know how long you'll have to stand? God has called us to finish the race, but we don't know the entirety of the course set before us, only that God is with us and will keep us through it... So will you sprint?

"What is Love?" Its a question that has plagued humanity for many years, today we take a look at what love is and how we can know that God loves us so very much!

Do words hurt? Yes. But we can't just get over them. We have to learn that the best way to respond to our hurts and our offense is to sow understanding, peace, and love in our lives!
