Chaos is all around us, our lives are messy and cluttered, and stress sometimes overwhelms us. The Bible, however, says that in Christ we can have peace that passes all understanding?

What does that mean? How can we find that peace that is overwhelming and all consuming? More than that, how can we possibly live in that kind of peace with the chaos of life around us?

We live in a world where we have a constant connection to a version of reality that is, well, not real. People post on social media photos and videos of their life and everyone has access to tools that give them the power to edit the dirt and the hurt and the struggle of life out.

God didn't create us this way. He created us to trust in Him and He shows us this in His response to our sin that has put the world in the place that it is in. His response was never filtered, it was never sanitized. It was often bloody and consistently showed brokenness.

But in that brokenness, in those hurts, in the truth of what Jesus did for us on the cross we find peace, love, joy, and an eternity in paradise with Him.

So often in life, whether a child with a parent, a student with a teacher, an employee with an employer, or us with God even, we want to know why we are told no.

The problem is that sometimes, we don't need to know. Sometimes its best that we don't know. Sometimes, its our job to obey and trust in someone who is looking out for our best interest.

We love His law because He loves us.

Do we live our lives accepting what God has said and know it to be true?

Or do we continue going back and asking for confirmation in 3 different ways?
