Mikey's back!! In this episode, we're sharing why Princess Bride isn't only the best movie ever, but why it also depicts the idea of true love in an utterly unattainable way (but also the best way). We talk about why your relationship with your spouse needs to be one of the strongest ones in your life, why the little things matter the most, and why friendship with each other is the greatest solution to everything.
We also discuss why every day should be Valentine's Day and the little things you can do to show your partner that you care about them. This one's a fun one!
Trigger warning for this episode: we discuss suicide, transitioning to another gender, and drug use, among other things. Please know that we are just two mamas who are trying to figure out life and trying to help our families, all while learning to navigate our own mental health. With that being said, please be kind!
In this episode, I discuss a lot of really deep things with my neighbor and friend, Donna Matern. Donna is a single mom of three boys. Like me, Donna has dealt with mental health struggles for most of her life and is now struggling to help and support her children. Through all of this, she has had to learn ways to cope, find peace, and learn and grow.
In this episode, we discuss everything from strengthening our relationship with God, taking care of grandkids, suicidal thoughts, drug use, supporting transgender kids, serving others, self-care, and so much more! Hopefully, something that is shared here will help you realize that you're not alone in your own struggles.
In this episode, Lindsay has a guest host, her daughter, Claire. In this episode, Claire and Lindsay talk about creating a brand for yourself, living like Future You does, and many more tips for improving the most important relationship in one's life. Claire provides some great tips for teenagers on how to love themselves.
In this episode, I discuss my own experiences with two types of depression: MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) and PPD (Post Partum Depression). I also discuss experiences of myself and my daughter with GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder). Although there are many types of depression and anxiety, this episode is specifically focused on those.
It's important to discuss our experiences with mental health disorders. The more we share, the more we help others. We need more people in our tribe who can relate to what we're going through so we don't feel alone. Compassion is a beautiful thing, friend!

I love you, friend, and I'm here for you always!
I'm so excited to be back with you, my friend! I never expected to take this long of a break, but sometimes life dishes out a lot of trials and lessons that we never expected. In my case, 2022 gave me a lot to deal with, and unfortunately, my passion project had to take a back seat for a while. But I'm back with a renewed sense of purpose that I believe I've been called upon to do.
I want to help you, my dear friend and sister, to figure out just how powerful you are. You might have mental health struggles, but they don't define you. You are actually incredibly powerful which is why you deal with these challenges. I admit, though, I sometimes find myself wishing I wasn't so strong, you know? I could have used help so many times throughout my motherhood. I still can!
I figured you might feel the same way, so that's what I'm here to help you with. My passion is to help other mamas with depression and anxiety (along with other mental health challenges) to get the tools they need to feel powerful and in control. I want you to know that you're not alone in your struggles. I want to guide you through some difficulties and help you in the five categories that I feel are the pillars of any woman and mother: relationships, physical health, spiritual health, your home, and time and money management.
Please go to my website and see all the changes that are coming in 2023! In this episode, I'm giving you some action items. The first is to sign up for "Just Do the Dang Thing," a free, 3-day, live boot camp (for lack of a better word) to help you set goals you'll actually be able to achieve. You'll learn to set ones that can work WITH your mental health and not against it.
To sign up for that, click here.
The second action item is to download the free starter kit I've prepared for you which gives even more actionable detail for the five pillars I mentioned above. The starter kit is packed with tons of valuable information to get you started on your path to gaining control of your life and your motherhood!
To download your free kit, click here.
I'm excited to be here with you again, my friend! I love you and I'm here for you!
Mike hates the term minimalism, and that's completely obvious in this episode. But, is Lindsay's way of life minimalism, or is there a difference between decluttering and minimalism, and if so, how do both affect one's mental health? This is discussed along with other fun things in this episode.
In this episode, Lindsay and Mike discuss the mental health challenges that will be addressed in future episodes and the blog, Happier Mom Life. They discuss ways they've coped with mental health challenges over the years in their marriage and in raising kids.
In this episode, Lindsay and Kim outline 8 steps that will help as you attempt to follow through on your goals and find success. Here are the links for this episode:

In this episode, Kim and Lindsay talk about favorite holidays and traditions. They talk more about how to simplify the expectations we place on ourselves to create "ideal" holidays and how to create memories that revolve around time spent together rather than things.
