A groundbreaking moment in "That Show F*cked Me Up!" history! I finally got to sit down and have a chat with the Chatty Fox herself aka Melissa Palafox! We talk all things from public health (pap smears & medical queefs) to TV shows that f*cked her up and we end it with RELIGIOUS TRAUMA and all the lovely things associated with it. Disclaimer: I do not have any experience/etiquette with hosting a guest so I laughed A LOT and VERY HARD! And if there is something you should know about me is that my laugh is THAT girl. As a non-confrontational baddie, this episode shook me to my core! If you haven’t watched “Midnight Mass, episode 3 is definitely in the must-watch list. The concept of forgiveness and guilt is brought up and how it is sometimes easier to forgive others than to forgive yourself… Ouch, that was too deep for this silly-little description. Since I was raised Catholic, but not Catholic enough to know wtf the book of Genesis was about, here is what Google told me “The Book of Genesis opens the Hebrew Bible with the story of creation. God, a spirit hovering over an empty, watery void, creates the world by speaking into the darkness and calling into being light, sky, land, vegetation, and living creatures over the course of six days.” Perfect f*cking name for the 1st episode of Midnight Mass and for the introduction of the beautiful and luxurious Crockett Island aka the Crockpot. Y’all aren’t ready for my uncensored thoughts on this dainty little island and all of it's marvelous residents...
