Jesse and I are back into Canada’s Drag Race, this time with Season 4!!!! Holy smokes it’s so exciting to be in one of the most dynamic seasons of the Canada franchise! This week we’re catching up on all the seasons of Drag Race that aired at the same time, France, Latina Royale, All Stars, and Down Under vs the World. 

We get into the most iconic queen of all seasons, Sisi Superstar, and talk about the mother to us all Melinda Verga. This week we’re talking about the get to know you ball featuring rosebuds, and a QV-She acting challenge.

Jesse and I are completing our discussion of Drag Race Italia Season 3!

Today we’re talking about cinematic parallels between Italia 3 and Season 10 of US Drag Race, as so many international seasons mop challenges and concepts from US Drag Race. We talk about some cute social media icon makeovers, virality being difficult to bottle, suspicious judgement, a queen getting called out on the main stage, duets, a messy reunion, and the finale which could have been a double win. 

There’s a lot to talk about in this string of episodes, notably the storylines that finally set for Sypario and Silvana who were major players in the story, and their edits suddenly shift, and its clear that their time is not now to win.

Jesse and I are back to talk about the next string of episodes in Drag Race Italia Season 3!

This week we begin with the persistent Snatch Game with some bold and fascinating choices, a surprising guest judge, and a fun runway prompt! We discuss an incredibly fun dance challenge, and a strange funeral roast. 

The cast and season are starting to click with us a bit more, and we started enjoying the layout even more this week since the editing is getting stronger and more consistent. The show has been focusing on stories more.

This week, Jesse and I are getting into the next three episodes of Season 3 of Drag Race Italia! 

These episode were a bit slow, the edit of the season, the constant b-roll, the random jump cuts, and lack of storytelling are making it a bit difficult to connect with the season and the contestants.

We discuss the bizarre Rusical, an even stranger design challenge themed seemingly on nothing substantial, and a reheating of Drag Race UK5’s nachos. We get into our favorite looks, discuss some fashions, confusing storylines, and a string of baffling judges decisions that aren’t supported by the edit well.

Jess and I are back in Drag Race Italia, for now, it’s the last Italy season in the timeline.

This third season is off with a bang doing a talent show first, followed by a wonky acting challenge inspired by Grease. For the first time, Jess and I are fully at odds about this season, with Jer loving it, and Jess being a bit hesitant at first. We discuss both the first two challenges and complete runway packages, the new recurring judges, and dramatic camera changes this season.
