Here in Georgia we have a ton of interesting locations that are potential hotspots for hauntings. The first that come to mind are places like old historic cemeteries, or civil war battlegrounds - both of which could easily be found in any number of residential backyards across the state.

October 17, 2022 S2 E51: The Stroudsburg Rain Man - The Devil & Don Decker
The mind is a powerful thing. There are certain memories that stick with you forever - sometimes triggered by a smell, or a sound, that will take you immediately back to a moment in time.
Whether a fond memory, or a complete nightmare, it seems that we have very little control of when this will happen. For us, the moment we hear the theme song for Unsolved Mysteries, or hear Robert Stack's voice - suddenly we're pre-teen kids again.
This week we talk about a case that both of us remember hearing about on our old favorite show Unsolved Mysteries - one that back in 1993 they referred to as the "Rain Boy".
This case is a perfectly creepy example of just how powerful the mind potentially is. Don Decker (the Rain Boy, or Rain Man) could seemingly make it start to rain wherever he was, a phenomenon that was witnessed by many including police...one which no one could explain.
Was it a case of hydrokenisis, a demonic possession, or simply what would be arguably one of the most elaborate and difficult hoaxes for the time?

September 26, 2022 S2 E48: The Hexham Heads Episode
In late spring of 1971, two brothers Colin and Leslie Robson, were playing in their garden. As they played and looked for things to throw they began to dig in the dirt - and found something that seemed both interesting and strange. The boys had dug up 2 small heads carved in stone. Roughly the size of an orange or tennis ball. The stone heads had flecks of greenish-grey and glistened with quartz crystals. The heads seemed to be carved of local stone, and had irregularly shaped features, holes for the mouth and eyes, ridges for the nose, and they were not identical.
Fascinated by the mysterious treasure they had found…they decided to keep them.
Little did they know all the strange things that would happen from then on… This is the story of The Hexham Heads.

September 19, 2022 S2 E47: Shapeshifters - The Pooka, Changelings, and The Nix
Three simple words have been etched into our brains since we started this show. "FOLLOW THE FOLKLORE".
It's simple, and 100% true.
We continuously uncover a commonality as we navigate through the "rad strangeness" we end up rifling through and discussing on our show. What we continue to find is that for as long as humans were capable of passing down stories...similar archetypes, creatures, characters, and encounters have occurred all around the world.
Despite being separated by physical proximity and even time...the parallels and similarities are astounding.
Such is the case with what can be generalized as "SHAPESHIFTERS".
The God's honest truth is we fully intended for this episode to just be about SHAPESHIFTERS in general. Initially sparked by a curious photograph taken recently by a group of paranormal researchers, we started with the Irish legend of the Pooka (or Puca).
But, as we dove in - we dove deep, and found we couldn't get out...not quite yet.

So - sit back, grab a few pieces of pure Iron (Fe), and listen to us discuss some of the interesting folklore/legends of The Pooka, Changelings, and the Nix.

September 12, 2022 S2 E46: Tyler Finally Watches Dune
I wish that I could express just how bad I want to underline, enlarge, and make bold - the word "FINALLY" in this episode's title.
In the 20+ years we've known each other I've been trying to convince Tyler to, at the very least, read DUNE by Frank Herbert. Or even to just come over and pop the 1984 David Lynch adaptation in my VCR. (That should have been an easy "yes" because of Sean Young, and Sting being in the movie).
But, much to my disappointment - he continued to not be interested in giving it a chance.
He didn't even listen when I described the greatness of the newest adaptation by Denis Villeneuve and the Allstar cast that came out in 2021.

But - finally the day has come. Get ready to dive into an episode where not only was I proven correct - but, we talk about all there is to love about one of sci-fi's greatest stories - DUNE. A story that I've been obsessed with since I was around 10 years old.
Somehow we dive into a few rabbit trails as to be expected - somehow even going down one on a Radiohead...

For literally thousands of years, accounts of strange things from above have been documented. Perhaps one of the earliest accounts occurs in the Book of Joshua in the Old Testament.
Each year at the beginning of the rainy season, the people of Yoro, Honduras, gather buckets, barrels, pails, and nets in anticipation of fish that will fall from the sky.
Frogs, and toads have also fallen numerous time and in monstrous numbers; but so have winkles, worms, and snakes.
