That You May Know Him

Blake dives into Acts 2:22-41 and discusses the normal Christian birth: how to become a Christian according to the Bible. In response to his sermon on the Day of Pentecost, Peter and the disciples were asked by the men of Jerusalem, "brothers, what shall we do?" In answering their question, Peter introduced a pattern that can be seen throughout the New Testament.  Is there a "right" way to be saved? Is there a "right" way to begin the Christian life? That is the question answered in today's episode.

Beginnings is a series produced by That You May Know Him Ministries and is hosted by Blake Barbera and Kevin Powell.

In today's episode, Blake and Carlos tackle the third pillar in the Calvinist system: the Doctrine of Limited Atonement. The hosts first take the time to unpack what is at stake for many Calvinists who hold to this view. They then look at passages of Scripture that are used to argue both for and against this commonly held belief. Finally, they seek to answer the underlying question directly from Scripture: did Christ die for everyone, or only for a few?
