That'll Do

What would you do as a ghost? Would you solve your own murder? Maria and Gina discuss what kinds of ghosts they would be and Maria covers the thought provoking tale of the Greenbrier Ghost - the only known case in which testimony from a ghost helped convict a murder. Was it justice or a witch hunt?

St. Louis, MO has its fair share of spook and ghost stories including history of Zombie Road and Lemp Mansion.

Zombie Road is one the most haunted roads in America. It’s said to sit atop the site of one the largest Native American burial grounds and rumored to be occupied by spirits of indigenous people, confederate soldiers, children, and teenagers trying to get their smooch on in the 50s…

Lemp Mansion, now a restaurant and inn, is considered the top ten most haunted places in America. After successfully building a brewery empire, tragedy struck and a hauntingly morbid family tradition commenced

Court cases that POSSESS the paranormal

It’s (finally) Spooky Szn! Nowhere is safe from the spook and paranormal, not even in Court. Maria and guest/future lawyer, Andrea cover two cases of “possession”:

1. David Berkowitz (Son of Sam) who used “possession” as a defense and claimed the neighbor's dog was possessed and instructed David to kill
2. Arne Cheyenne Johnson, this landmark case known as “The Devil Made Me Do It” was the first known court case in the U.S. where the defense was the claim of demonic possession and denial of personal responsibility for the crime
