Sleep on it and get back to us in the morning. And if that's not outrageous enough, we also have the story of a Chilean man who was accidentally paid 30 years worth of salary in one month. What do you think he did? And a Florida man who was so determined to get a security job at Disney, that we went to criminal lengths to get it. Plus, we applaud a woman in her 50s who finally persevered in getting a full time job after 6 years of trying. Her story is inspiring.

And we continue our summer movie viewing with the 1997 scare-fest, "I Know What You Did Last Summer." This one's got it all: an attractive cast, many bad decisions and a killer who just won't die. Wasn't high school a great time?

This week's episode is about everything John Q Public loves (and for the record, we at "That's Outrageous" do NOT love the term "John Q Public" but it works in this context). First we talk about the absolutely delightful discovery of a Burger King frozen in time in a Delaware mall. Then we cover the multi-deck brawl that broke out on a Carnival Cruise at 2am (the best time to brawl) and we take a guess at the age of the oldest flight attendant. But the guessing does not end there! Crissy quizzes Anne on some fun yet trivial, summer trivia. See if you do better than Anne.

And finally we discuss the John Candy popcorn movie, "Summer Rental". How have we gone nearly 2 years without discussing John Candy is a head scratcher unto itself. But the time has finally come for this great man to get his due. This one's got Candy, Rip Torn and Richard Crenna - what could possibly go wrong?

Or how 'bout if your fiancé asked you to store her wedding dress for the big day and it wound up in a casket instead? This is precisely what happens when you use TikTok and the NY Post as your news source. You might not believe it all but you can't help but go along for the ride - which is exactly what we did this week.

Plus, we revisited the camp classic, "Meatballs". This one has got it all: young Bill Murray, full adults playing teenagers, exasperated authority figures and harmless pranks that even Anne didn't get annoyed by. Best of all - it's free on youtube! Trust us, this is 90 minutes well spent.

Everybody was sending us a story this week about an elephant who killed a woman at a watering hole and then did something even more outrageous. Plus seeking to thwart the course of justice, one woman releases hundreds of cockroaches in court and a little boy went missing in the Montana woods. Find out how he was found.

This week we watched an oldie but a goodie, "Little Darlings". Crissy could not keep Matt Dillon straight from Matt Damon and Anne just wanted to envision Rex Reed in "The Pirate Movie" (that's worth a listen alone), but we did enjoy revisiting this one. It's a surprisingly sensitive portrayal of young love (or at least lust). And as a bonus, we talk about the time Laurence Fishburne was spotted looking for Coffee Mate in our office. Place your bets on who spoke to him: Anne or Crissy.

There's a lot of stuff going on this week and all of it is outrageous. First, a story we still don't understand no matter how many times we read it: a woman could collect $5.2 million from GEICO for having unprotected sex in a car and getting an STD. Yes, you read that right. And we discuss the viral video of an overzealous Disneyland park employee ruining a young couple's engagement for reasons that have never been made clear. Plus, the Aero 360 amusement park ride did anything but amuse its passengers on one recent trip.

Then, can you name the 2010 movie starring Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson? What's that you say? Never heard of it? How could that be? These are all the questions we had as well when we stumbled across this forgotten romcom called, "How Do You Know". And now that we've seen it, we have some answers.

And we're kicking off summer with the Mark Harmon/Kirstie Alley film, "Summer School." Only a film from the 80s could feature a male teen stripper who is caught by his mother when she slips money into his G string, a 16-year-old student living with her 30-year-old teacher (and no one having an issue with it), and the same teacher throwing an alcohol-fueled bash at his own apartment as part of a blackmail scheme by his students. Got to love the 80s.

"Top Gun: Maverick" just had the biggest Memorial Day opening weekend ever (and you better believe Anne was amongst those coughing up her $16 to see it. Money well spent, judging by her reaction). We, at "That's Outrageous" podcast are hoping to draft off of that success with a look at another Tom Cruise film, "Eyes Wide Shut". This was first time viewing for Crissy who chose this final Kubrick film. Find out what the ladies have to say about the story behind the filming, the plot and all the topless women.

With Jennifer Grey back in the news with her new memoir, the ladies decided to rewatch arguably her most famous film. This discussion is loaded with facts about the movie you might not have known along with surprising similarities to current day events.

Speaking of which, we give our hot take on the new Balenciaga sneaker. Put a pair of these puppies on your feet for a literal interpretation of dirty dancing. Plus, thanks to a successful petition by one particular group, people everywhere are rejoicing in the streets over the return of this fast-food favorite. Find out the surprising story behind its comeback. And, a couple wakes up to a new day and a strange new (but friendly) bedfellow.
