Ryan and Matt "What?" Amberg are back in the original different states to talk about beards, Darkman, and not LOST before moving on to time spent with Rock Band 4, LEGO Dimensions, Star Wars Battlefront's survival mode, Destiny The Taken King, Little Big Planet 3, and Just Cause 3 aka the bane of those dang cracker hackers. Then it's on to Homefront: The Revolution's injurious release date, Doom's dubious release date, the funding of Psychonauts 2, Assassin's Creed's Apostrophe Panic™, Scalebound's delay, Activision's MLG buyout, Half-life's Marc Laidlaw's departure from Valve, and VR News Dump 2016.
Ryan and Matt "I'm Sorry for Last Week's Nickname" Amberg ring in the New Year and talk about Avalon, One Night, and Bang! The Dice Game before moving on to more video gamey games like Just Cause 3, Little Big Planet 3, Carcassonne, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, The Jackbox Party Pack, Quiplash, and Lara Croft Go. Then it's on to Star Wars Battlefront's OT bend, Uncharted 4's delay, and a few VR headlines about Oculus and Playstation VR.
Ryan and Matt "Pappy New Smear" Amberg get a little bit into what they got for Christmas but spend the lion's share on their 5 favorite games that were kind-of mostly released and/or heavily played over the course of 2015!
Thanks to anyone that hung out with us in 2015, you are generally speaking a completely appropriate group of human beings! 2016 is the following year!
Ryan and Matt-sletoe *Kiss* Amberg are beginning to look talk a lot like about Christmas spaghetti sauce, Star Wars The Force Awakens, who The Vogues are, and Idaho before it's on to time spent with Fallout 4, new Star Wars Base Command maps, Pipfall, Carcassonne, and Destiny's Dark Below, House of Wolves, and Sparrow Racing League DLC. Peter Moore™, Valve/HTC's Vive in April, how The Game Awards did, and Bethesda and Gearbox's new Canadian studios.
Ryan and Matt the Knife do it all again with Gone in 60 Seconds, parade(s) of light(s), and Nightmare on Elm Street 3 before it's on to more time spent with Star Wars Battlefront and Base Command, then Ryan recounts his Game Awards galavanting with Shaq Fu 2, Telltale's new Walking Dead and Batman games, Psychonauts 2, 1 million things about The Elder Scrolls Online, Quantum Break-ing news, a tribute to Iwata, Rock Band VR, Shadow Complex Remastered, Rocket League for Xbox One, Hamill-time, The Witcher 3's GOTY win, and Kombat Pack 2 for MKX. But the Playstation Experience couldn't leave well enough alone and did something to Final Fantasy 7 on PS4, split up the remake, announced F.A.N.G. for Street Fighter 5, is making Psychonauts, Rez, Ace Combat, and 100 Foot Robot Golf for Playstation VR, showed Ratchet and Clank, Destiny's new Sparrow Racing League, Epic's new MOBA called Paragon, Playstation now at $100/year, and something about Dark Souls 3 I don't know it's like 10 p.m. Oh also PS2 games are fancy and kind of expensive on PS4, Gone Home is... going to consoles, The Division has been delayed, WB Montreal is going to make a bunch of nerds angry, Resident Evil 2 is a remake no a remaster no a remake, and System Shock 3 was announced. Ryan and Matt "Poetry" Slamberg rap about Jessica Jones, Bone Tomahawk, and Nightmare on Elm Street 2 before it's on to time spent with Pac-man CE, the Overwatch beta, Fallout 4, Star Wars Battlefront, and Star Wars Battlefront Base Command. Then PS2 meets PS4, Rock Band 4 and Halo 5 get December updates, Rainbow Six Siege continues to exist, Miyazaki puts Dark Souls to rest, Deus Ex Mankind Divided gets delayed, Afro Samurai 2 mediocres itself to death, Telltale's Game of Thrones gets a second season, The Game Awards are all hip and stuff, Fig's 2nd campaign falls short, and YouTube will give you a million bucks free and clear for no reason at all.
Ryan and Matt "Sass Backwards" Amberg reverse engineer Star Wars Battlefront's first DLC pack, Nintendo's 5 mobile games, Twilight Princess HD, Mario Maker's web portal, Mario and Luigi Paper Jam, Star Fox Zero, Fire Emblem Fates, Dragon Warrior and/or Quest 7 and 8, a Linkle in time, and J.J. Abrams' and Chair's Spyjinx before talking about time spent with Fallout 4, Halo 5, Star Wars Battlefront Base Commander, Guacamelee DLC, Watch Dogs DLC, Rock Band 4, and Telltale's Back to the Future game.
