The 0HITPOINTS Podcast

Ryan and Mat-a-tat-tat talk about, get this, movies(!) like Total Recall, Alien, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Naked Guns, Scary Movie 3, and Balls of Fury before unbelievably moving on to the games they played, namely Far Cry 4, Magic, Evolve, 8Bit doves, the fever dream that is Puyopuyo Tetris, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, finishing Battlefield 4, and the first GTA V heist.

Then hey BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE HAS A DRIVEABLE COUCH, Mortal Kombat X news, the Rainbow Six: Siege alpha sign up, Banjo Kazooie's new spiritual successor, and Nintendo's new console that won't be on your phone.

Ryan and Matt-attack give in to the darkness and talk about movies for darn near thirty minutes, namely Kingsman, Of Miracles and Men, American Sniper, Home Alone, and Cobra.

Then, no joke, they actually talk about video games, like Worms: Battlegrounds, Monument Valley, Puyopuyo Tetris, Lastronaut, and Evolve. Then they go full on newsies about Evolve's observer mode, new Wolfenstein stand-alone DLC, Metal Gear Solid V, the Xboxing of Wasteland 2, Shovel Knight, Goat Simulator, Cuphead and a free-to-play Magic Duels: Origins, new Sunset Overdrive DLC, more Overwatch content, Tales from the Borderlands: Episode 2, and Gameinformer's Mad Max info dump.

Ryan and Matt-in-a-cage muscle through the sick and talk about the 9 movies they watched last week in-between games of Puyopuyo Tetris, The Jackbox Party Pack, Evolve, and Tales from the Borderlands Episode One. Then it's on to news about Telltale's new investor, Batman Arkham Knight's new trailer, Mortal Kombat X's new trailer, Zombie Army Trilogy's new... trailer!, Payday 2 and Hot Cops, Fast & Furious & Forza, Mad Max's release date, Metal Gear Solid V's possible release date, Fable Legends being free-to-play, more commenting on rumors and speculation starring The Division, Toejam & Earl's Kickstarter Adventure™, a new Clayfighter, and Valve/HTC's virtual reality headset.

Ryan and "Matt" talk sexy about non-video games like Flex, Krosmaster, and Big Trouble In Little China figs before Ryan details how his movie spree included 4 movies that weren't Tango & Cash.

Then they make up stuff about when they played Evolve, Evolve: Hunter's Quest, and The Jackbox Party Pack before drudging up Nintendo's missing 3DS shipments, new Shadow of Mordor DLC, and entire WORLD of tanks, a date for GTA V heists, a possible Alpha for The Division, Rock Band 4, Phantom Dust speedbumps, Spawn in Mortal Kombat X, game length a la The Order: 1886, and Magic Mario in this week's weak question.

Ryan and Matth ease into things with inexplicable racquetball, more Amiibo hunting, and Ryan Reynolds' Valentine's Day before returning to Normal Ryan and his Disneyland excursion.

Then they must have remembered the podcast is about games or something because they start talking about having finally played Evolve, Nintendo being Nintendo, Just Cause 3's new trailer, multiplayer for the new Mass Effect, Darksiders 2 for new consoles, Ubisoft's crowded 2015 of games that will surely come out and work fine, the next Rock Band game, and a Star Wars: Battlefront infodump.

Ryan and Zap Mattigan begin by talking about what is probably professional racquetball, Michael Keaton's super-hero movie "Birdman", and Drew Struzan's super-hero movie "I Will Steal Your Soul with My Witchcraft Painting", before it all devolves into video games like Far Cry 4, IDARB, GTA V's ending, and Evolve: Hunter's Quest.

Then you're all powerless to prevent them from talking about Evolve's critical reception, Dying Light's mod tools, Overwatch news, Halo 5 beta feedback, LEGO Jurassic World's trailer, Mortal Kombat X modes, Borderlands 3, Homefront: Revolution's "not fake" status, and the DICE Awards.

Ryan and Man-Matt go nazi antiquing and talk about watchable Spider-man movies before getting into it over Far Cry 4, Game of Thrones Episode 1's ending, Scribblenauts: Unlimited, Evolve: Hunter's Quest, tiny bits of Sunset Overdrive and GTA V, the end of Assassins Creed Unity's Dead Kings DLC, IDARB, and the Battlefield Hardline Beta.

Then nobody stopped them from talking about Star Wars: Battlefront news, LEGO Jurassic World and LEGO Avengers, Condemned 3, Dying Light and Halo MCC patch problems, the first 18 minutes of Boodborne, Gearbox's head writer leaving, and the selling of Sony Online Entertainment.

Now this is the spot where I'd usually post links to YouTube and Twitter but I'm not going to do that anymore. But 0HITPOINTS.COM is up and running!

Ryan and Mattress Outlet bring an end to The Great Amiibo Hunt before verifying that Taken 1 is in fact a great movie, then it's on to time spent with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Lego Marvel Superheroes, Sunset Overdrive's after-game (which is a thing), Tetris Ultimate[ly Broken], Assassin's Creed Unity's Dead Kings DLC, Battlefield 4's Final Stand DLC, Far Cry 4, and Telltale's Game of Thrones.

But wait there's more, like the ongoing Evolve DLC saga, Dying Light's half-delay, hot-boxing in Battlefield Hardline, Call of Duty World at War 2 rumors, and the incomparable Laura James Reed's Question of the Weak™.

YouTube, Twitter, etc!

Ryan and Mat-at talk TV and NES collecting before getting into Sunset Overdrive's endgame, The Great Amiibo Famine, Telltale's Game of Thrones, and the Evolve Beta. Speaking of segues, they then talk about Evolve's DLC fixation, the upcoming Neverwinter beta, Oddworld's re-re-release, Borderlands coming to next-actually-current gen consoles, and the closing of Club Nintendo.

Last but possibly least, this week introduces a new Question of the Weak™ segment to the show, wherein YouTube, Twitter, and Skyrim are NOT mentioned.

Ryan and Mattletoads wax cinematic yet again with Taken 3, Boyhood, and Predestination before getting back to gaming with Tetris Ultimate's 30 year-old problem, Sunset Overdrive, and the end of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. Then it's on to The Great Amiibo Hunt, the upcoming Smite beta, Evolve going gold, Tony Hawk's next game, the Zombie Army Trilogy, Zombie Studios transforming, and Xbox Avatars triumphant return to indifference.

0HP, Ryan, and Matt are unfortunately all on Twitter, YouTube is now home to all the extremely exclusive sneak peaks, and Burt Reynolds Crab.
