    Calls to youth mental health service Jigsaw reached a 400% increase in the last year with many young people reaching out for help and support during lockdown. This organisation are in need of support and are asking the public to sign up to Hike for Hope and raise vital funds. Amy Barter from 21st Meath Kentstown scout group took part in hike for hope last year and is doing so again this year, she outlined the important services Jigsaw offers young people and how we can get involved in the hike for hope.

    In 2019 a movie crew along with stars Saoirse Monica Jackson of Derry Girls fame, Patrick Bergin, Vanessa Redgrave and a host of others descended on the picturesque town of Carlingford to shoot a movie 'Finding You'. Peter Larkin the man who runs Carlingford Lough and Cooley Penninsula facebook page was on set and captured some of the action in great photographs. He gave Sinéad the lowdown from behind the scenes of the movie.
