Spiritual growth or personal growth is not easy or for the faint of heart; even Oprah will be the first one to admit it. However, if we want to live in our true nature and be moving down the path in alignment with our purpose, doing the inner work and getting clear on our vision are crucial. In this second episode of our two-part series on casting the vision, Hallie and I talk about learning to operate in a way driven by your purpose instead of your ego, what our superego does and why we need it, and how to dial it down so it doesn’t control every decision. In this first episode of a two-part series, we talk about the difference between a vision and a goal or plan, and why you need to know the difference. As a leader, it’s essential to cast a vision and explain your vision to others in a way that they are on board – but oftentimes it’s much easier said than done. We share what exactly casting the vision means, the three things leaders must do to set the vision for themselves and their teams, and what to do when the world doesn’t seem to get it. Because sometimes they won’t, but that shouldn’t stop you! Want a roadmap for casting the vision? Many of us have beliefs about money that we developed as a child and took into our adult lives – maybe some good, maybe some not so good. One of the cool things about being a parent (or grandparent or aunt or uncle!) is that we have the opportunity to show children just how good it can feel when you are intentional about how you use money. In this episode, Hallie and I talk about why children who get everything given to them don’t necessarily have it easier and a few good practices you can incorporate when it comes to instilling good money management with your children, including how to both save and spend consciously. We also talk about how I incentivize my children to help them understand the value of earning and using money in a conscious way. View the full show notes here.
Have you ever had a conversation with someone when you’re just blown away by all the powerful insights that come up while you both are talking? This week’s episode is that type of conversation. Hallie and I are joined by Alex Judd, founder of Path for Growth and the former host of Dave Ramsey's EntreLeadership podcast – he's an individual who completely embodies personal growth through business success. Alex drops so many key leadership lessons in this episode – warning, you’re going to want to take notes as you’re listening. Together, we unpack what self-leadership means, discuss a few of the keystone habits that make a huge difference, why discipline equals freedom, and being vs. doing. We also get the scoop on Alex’s love of chips and salsa, and how it snowballed into a full-fledged obsession. See the full show notes here.

Or chase it down like it’s the only thing that matters? This week, Hallie and I talk about what manifesting really is and what it’s not. We discuss the difference between manifesting as a means of control and using it to get clarity that will help you navigate all the twists and turns in the dance of life. Why should we try to manifest our future while both working toward our goal and letting go of the outcome? There’s a reason. Tune in to find out! See the full show notes here.

In personal growth, we hear a lot about an open heart and a closed heart, but what does that really mean? In this episode, Hallie and I explore what operating from an open heart really looks like, the benefits of leading with an open heart, and why it doesn’t shield us from the tough conversations or prevent us from being a fierce competitor in business. It’s actually the opposite! We give some real-life examples of open-heartedness in the workplace, and advice for getting out of your mind and into your heart. See the full show notes here.
