This weeks Mystery Monday Ep. 12 covers the disappearance of Corinna Slusser.

Corinna was just barely 18 and struggling to find her place in life. She was living in a small town of 13,000 people and really wanted to break out of the monotony of small time living. She had her eye on New York City and was determined to "make it". Corinna really wanted to elevate her lifestyle and was big into social media. She would post everything about her life on there, including the not so good parts.

Which made her situation prime for a person with bad intentions to come in and promise Corinna all these things she spoke about wanting/needing on her socials.

Before she realizes it she is deeply imbedded in New York's dark world of sex work and finds herself under the watchful eye of her pimp. After a brutal assault, Corinna tells her mother that she wants to come home. But, Corinna never gets the chance because she goes missing within hours of telling her mother she was done with NYC.
